Will we see that on a CBS show?

tl/dr - it's sitting on a prime site for another hotel that would compete with one of Trump's

Why is this suddenly news? I thought he admitted that years ago.

Bit of trivia - the first Waldorf Hotel was built by William Astor to literally cast shade on his aunt's mansion next door.

(FBI building site could financially shade Trump's hotel)

Is this legal? Or is this just "legal" because anybody who can do anything about it just doesn't care?

And spite.

Never forget that imbecilic toddler will always try to punch back to anyone who doesn't immediately give their loyalty.

That'll keep the value high for when it becomes the people's hotel in a year or so.

They'll charge a reasonable rate and have an honorary dish call the Trump special, where they shiat on a plate, steal $50 from your wallet, and attempt to rape your underage daughter, if you have one. If not, your old ugly wife(whose not more than a 3, I mean really, who would do that?) will be sexually assaulted on her way to the gift shop.

Dessert will be two scoops of ice cream, and an NDA to not speak of the event to anyone.

Should be a hit with the trumpanzees.

This sounds like the USDA move that decimated the dept. Remember the "I can't fire them but I can force them to quit" speech?

He added that Trump "doesn't have a sound strategy here, and the men and women of the FBI deserve better."

It's a sound strategy if it benefits him, he could care less how it effects the country or the men and women of the FBI

Listen, you can't have the FBI headquarters right across the street from an FSB safe house. That's just bad for business.

Terrorist Explosive Device Analytical Center.

I'm glad Mr. TE Device finally got a government building named after him. He was a cool guy.

Wait, I though Trump wanted a new FBI building next to a Trump hotel, because he thought all the people that work there would go eat in his hotel restaurant.  Am I getting this confused with a different scandal?

/Just too many to keep track of

He wants the old, dilapidated building to be kept because if it's moved, a hotel might go in next to his and provide competition.

The FBI wants a completely new, technologically advanced building in the suburbs.

It already is, he leases it from the government. If I remember right the lease says no governmental official can hold the lease...

I'm not sure why the fark he's fighting for this so hard. Any decision he makes will be cancelled once Biden wins. If he somehow wins then he could do this under the radar in later years. It's just farking stupid as well as stupidly corrupt.

While that might be a bonus for the Admin, it looks a lot more like this is Senator Shelby, R-AL bringing home some major pork.

I feel bad for all the FBI, its going to be near impossible to find network and security operations people who want to live in Alabama.

But at least the Party of no Pork got....pork for their district.

TBH, Huntsville itself isn't that bad. Been there and the place is not what I expected from northern Alabama.

About 20 minutes drive outside of town though, pretty much exactly what I expected.
