Yeah, act like you are punishing people because you aren't getting your own way.
That's mature.

If your business model cannot pay people enough to live on, it probably isn't a good business model.

Why doesn't Uber just conjure some stock to give to their employees? Doesn't really cost anything and there'll be a handful of stories about millionaire Uber drivers. Win-Win

Isn't that what they did in the breakup of Russia? Give everyone stocks of the national companies?

Uber lost $2.9 billion in this last quarter.

Shutting down in California should save them millions.

Of course, if they did a complete shutdown, it would save them $2.9 billion.

Their IPO raised about $10B. Those $2+B quarterly losses means they're going to burn through the IPO raise in a year. I suspect they're going to get a buy-out at around $12B valuation, if that. GM or Ford will do the buy-out and add Uber's technology into their self-driving vehicles.

Did I miss the part when the Dems had control of all 3 arms of government and passed the largest increase in minimum wage ever? Oh that's right. It didn't happen.

There is no reason for GM or Ford to buy Uber.  They can lose billions perfectly fine without all those tech bro's.

Uber has no technology (except the stalking journalists and women tech bro's want to date) that is valuable to anyone. Self driving cars?  The tech bro that stole that self driving tech from Google is off to jail for 18 months.
