Trump humpers desperately want college football because they don't want people to blame Trump for no college football

2020-08-11 5:13:47 PM
Now there's a dude that damn well better be wearing a mask.

2020-08-11 5:15:05 PM
That's some fine epidemiology there, Lou.

2020-08-11 5:16:56 PM
Holtz should have died in prison for all the shiat he did to ruin 6 (or so) college football programs. fark Lou Holtz.

2020-08-11 5:18:45 PM
I thought he was dead.

2020-08-11 5:26:56 PM
Holtz has always been an idiot douchebag.

NewportBarGuy: You die first Lou.

I'm constantly surprised that he's alive. He was an old man when I was young.

I'm no longer young.

But he's so motivating!

This guy's slobbering worship of Notre Dame made him unbearable when he was on ESPN's College Football show. My brother managed to do a pretty good impression of his mumbling, which was probably mean-spirited, but no one deserves it more than this out-of-touch geezer.

2020-08-11 5:49:06 PM
Does that make the NCAA the Nazis?

2020-08-11 5:50:50 PM
I forget who it was that had to sit next to him on ESPN's show sometimes. But I adored the side-eye he'd give Holtz, every darn show.

Sometimes he'd crack under the stupidity and just tear into Holtz and it was better than the f'ing games to watch.

To Trump humpers players' lives are expendable; their Saturday TV viewing is not. Cart another peon on the field! Bread and circuses!

Jack Sabbath: [Fark user image 507x377]

a man he had never met before in his life, to deliver to his infant son, who he'd never seen in the flesh, his national championship ring. Three days later, your granddad was dead. But Winocki kept his word. After the game was over, he paid a visit to your grandmother, delivering to your infant father, his dad's ring.

This ring. This ring was on your daddy's finger when OSU lost eight straight BCS bowl games against the SEC. He was captured, put in a prison camp in South Carolina. He knew if the Cocks ever saw the ring it'd be confiscated, taken away. The way your dad looked at it, that watch was your birthright. He'd be damned if any BBQ eating traitors were gonna put their greasy hands on his boy's birthright. So he hid it in the one place he knew he could hide something. His ass. Five long years, he wore this ring up his ass. Then he died of dysentery, he gave me the ring. I hid this uncomfortable hunk of metal up my ass two years. Then, after seven years, I was sent home to my family. And now, little man, I give the ring to you.

At least we paid the soldiers at Normandy

/ including a $10,000 death benefit for their families if they did die.
// that would be equivalent to about $150,000 today

It's just football, not WWII. What the fark is wrong with people?

Holtz went full-on Trumper awhile back. So this is hardly surprising.

His keepers probably forgot to hit him with the Haldol today, that's all.

2020-08-11 6:45:31 PM
Wow.

He stole Trump's playbook.

Yeah, for anyone who has followed the sport at all over the last few decades, this comes as no surprise.

To be fair, he also said this, so take it for what it's worth.

Yet another football coach who thinks he's General Farking Patton.

Lou, you got rich exploiting the athletic talents of mostly poor, mostly minority kids who you then threw away like yesterday's garbage the moment they couldn't do anything for you.

I love college football. It's my favorite sport to watch. But, I've got to say, there's a little Schadenfruede going on watching all of the knuckleheads completely lose their sh*t. Yes, I feel bad for the kids. But the adults told us what we all really needed to do back in March and our collective failure to do so got us where we are now. Maybe stop pretending to be smarter than people who have studied infectious diseases for decades and start listening. If we do that, we might even get college football back next year.

Well, it is true that we knew there would be casualties at Normandy. On the other hand, most of those motherfarkers were drafted and given the choice many would have decided to die another day... I know, they were heroes regardless but let's not gloss over the fact that choice didn't have much to do with it and ain't nobody gotta play football

2020-08-11 9:26:24 PM
You can certainly understand Holtz for being upset if there is no college football this year.  His job and on-the-air ego is dependent upon there being a college football season. It's all about him.

Ridding the world of Nazism pales before the importance of playing a game that destroys brain cells.

Are we sure the he spoke clearly? I mean, last time I heard him talk he sounded like he was drowning in his own saliva.

/not gonna listen to that moron again

I never liked that asshole when he was the coach here at UofM. I liked him even less when he ran away for Notre Dame and left the school holding the bag for his recruiting violations. His opinion holds little value for me.

Yeah and did that fossil use "People want to get back to normal" or "This is what people want"? Those are my favorite ones for doing something nothing about the consequences or safety.
So Lou when these players get sick, cause it will happen, and most likely survive are you going to pay them if they have some crippling lung damage for the rest of their lives? Yeah didn't think so you cock.

People really need to STFU about "feewing BAD" about the student-athletes actually being just students for a change--and start being f*cking PISSED about why the decision even had to be made.

I mean, I get it--the entire college football machine generates a shiat-ton of money for a LOT of people unwilling to risk their own lives on the field while sitting around analyzing the players' performances. And, in turn it gives all of us viewers/fans some mindless entertainment while we all conveniently convince ourselves of our 'concern' if any players, staff, etc actually contract the deadly virus with no vaccine. I get it.
