Wow, two brawls involving the Astros and STILL no Astros players suspended. Whatever they have on the league office must be incredible.

I think by now even Bud Selig would've banned half the team.

I like how the old biatch instigated then bravely hid behind 4 guys. He didn't want any part of that guy

We've all had that ONE "friend" whom was liable to egg on a complete stranger or group of them over almost nothing into a fight because "yo, I got my boys with me too!" And, of course said "friend" was a chicken sh*t whom could completely disappear on the rest of you if any fists do fly.

He survived cheating with the team barely getting a slap on the wrist, he knows he's indestructible now.

Once they play stadiums with fans I hope they're jeered for the next decade. They deserve it.

I misread the headline and now I have the replacements in my head.

Equivalent of 54 games in a full season.  I wonder if it was scaled to account for that, or if it would have been 20 games in a normal season.

I'm not sure if MLB takes into account season length.  I don't think they do when it involves a team in the playoffs.  If you're suspended 50 games, it doesn't matter if your team plays 162 games or 172, it will be the same length.  Of course, having a season so short is all new ground.

You misspelled "forever or until they are seized and resold and moved."

Good. Picked a fight, then backed down like a biatch when challenged.

I thought I saw somewhere that said 5 A's got hit during the series and no Astros did...

Be better A's pitchers.

I'm all for suspending Astros, but I'm not sure who exactly I'd suspend here. If you hit a guy with a slider, you probably just threw a bad slider.

Laureano miming how to throw a slider to the guy was hilarious.

I mean, the Dodgers guy got a bunch of games for similarly being inaccurate (and talking sh*t, but the Astros were also talking sh*t and didn't get in trouble.

Apparently an Astro in this case tackled an opposing player, which...sure, you can say it was to stop a fight, but it's again the most aggressive action and the pitchers throwing at the A's didn't get anything.

Throw in that none of them got suspended for years of cheating... I mean, it's fair to wonder.

They can't get suspended for cheating. They don't get suspended when they start fights as batters. They don't get suspended when they throw at other guys. Only coaches ever get suspended. It's weird.

Laureano shouldn't be suspended at all.  The guy was hit twice in the same game by bad pitches.  He has a right to criticize their pitching.  Cintron goaded him and goaded him, reportedly making a rude comment about his mom that sent him over the edge.  I would argue that at least 65% of players would react the same way in the same situation.  If I were in charge of discipline in the MLB, Cintron would be on the short-track for a serious ban, and Laureano would get off with a fine.

I know it's been said, but Fark the Astros.  As a Cubs fan, I'm glad they got relegated out of our division.
