If it results in getting rid of garbage like this, I'm all for it.
This is freaking Superman and he has been fighting this "red cloud" for the past year. The only thing keeping them afloat is idiots like me who keep buying it out of a sense of obligation or something!!
Even the artwork is terrible, look at this, it looks like some highschooler scribbled it on the back cover of their notebook

There are modern comic artists getting high praise from fans and critics that make Liefeld look like Rembrandt.

I'm not a huge fan of John Romita Jr's style, but he's an award winning artist who has been working in comics almost as long as I've been alive.

That's because those are kids who learned to draw by copying Liefeld.

Came here for this, leaving happily. It's not just that - they farked up the DCU storylines so badly that there's no easy way, yet again, to pull out & start over, and everyone's getting sick of the "sure, it happened, but only in Earth-DEADBEEF, so it doesn't really count on Earth-1, Earth-2, Earth-FFFF00, etc." arcs and the 15 issues of one-off "bite-size plots you could resolve in a single-page ad for Twinkies, stretched across an entire issue" comics, or whatever.

No, they pissed in their own cornflakes and now don't like the taste, but they've run out of farking bowls. Eat up, folks!

As an aside, what's this "Disney's 'Rogue One' Prequel" bullshiat? "Rogue One" was a goddamned prequel for "Star Wars" - it farking ends where that movie begins. Are we now just going to fill in whatever shiat we want and call it a "Star Wars Tale" or some such?

Yeah, that Mandalorian series was total trash. We sure don't need anything like that again.

Oh wait, no. It was amazing. Maybe my favorite Star Wars thing of all time (and that included the movies).

I only read Batman and Action, and Action, literally for the past year, has been a jumbled mess of 'inner dialogue' and recaps of the previous issues.  And I STILL don't know what's going on.

And they're up to their old tricks with this "Joker War main story" is in Batman, but if you really want to know what's going on you have to read:

Nightwing 70-75
Detective 1022-1026
Batgirl 47-50
Harley Quinn 75
Catwoman 25-26
Red Hood 48
Batman:  Joker War Zone

So that's a total of 18 issues I would need to read to get the full story.  Instead I'm going to get some confusing stories with little boxes saying "If you want to know what happened here, you're going to have to go read this other shiat!"

I know that's standard comics 101, but I'm tired of being punished for buying their comics.

Have to love Bill Willingham, not only did he make a pretty good fantasy porn, he did artwork for early D&D, examined the concept of superheroes in a realistic world with Elementals a year before Watchmen, and then crafted the exemplary Fables series. Probably one of the best creators out there.

Damn, Elementals is a pretty deep cut. I know one other person locally that would even recognize the name (but he also buys a lot of things like that, the AC Comics & such). Fables was one of my go to title for "people who want to try comics but aren't into the superhero thing".
