As much as I like BRIAN BLESSED, I think we should get a second source for this story.

I am surprised that I am writing this, owing to my great dislike of the Royal Family, and really the entire concept of royalty itself.  But, I found that article oddly interesting.

Yeah, so? Flash Gordon is a great action flick. Where else can you see James Bond and Jesus confounded by a quarterback?

My family watches Robin William's Hook every Christmas.

It's also worth remembering that the Queen's job is to be diplomatic to everyone. Even people like Trump and Ceaucescu (and despite wanting to scrap the monarchy, she's done a damn good job for 60 years). She probably tells lots of people that X is her favourite film with her grandchildren.

Nope.

His body of work spans decades of stage, screen and film.

She picked this one

Again, *according* to Brian Blessed, so did she, really?

I mean, the British aren't known for their sense of humor, or big boisterous guys like Brian known for telling tall tales, amirite?

/I'm gonna need corroboration a little more solid than a single actor talking up one of his own movies with what sounds like a humorous story.

And if he did lie, the power of his voice would bend reality and just make it truth, he is blessed that way.

I watched Disney's Peter Pan last Christmas for the first time in like 25+ years, and you know what? Not only is Hook a good movie, it's also easily the best sequel Disney's made, when judged as a sequel. God I love that movie.
