If parents are willing to send their kids to school without masks, I don't see Halloween getting canceled anytime soon.

People will demand their rights to celebrate a satanic holiday.

Welcome to 2020.  The only holiday that encourages wearing mask might be cancelled.

Right now as things stand , if I had kids i would not let them go and nor would i hand out candy.  A lot would need to change between now and halloween to get me to change my mind and given the current leadership of this country , it's just not gonna happen.

The only people who are gonna be hurt are the people that rely on Halloween as their big money maker. I work as a professional haunted house actor and the place I've been working the last few years is extremely nervous. For a lot of these places October is what financially supports them for most if not the full year.

Screw the candy companies and the cheap, barely avoiding copyright, poorly Chinese made, Morally corrupt "slutifying," bull shiat costume company. Those people ain't gonna lose a dime over this. But you watch they will be the first ones at the table suckling big daddy McCockel for money come September.

I'm not sure why. Of all the kid activities, Halloween/trick or treating are among the safest. People hand out candy, the kids are outside, the entire transaction takes less than a minute per house.

As opposed to lengthy time spent indoors at school, church or a restaurant with crowds of people.

Yeah. I keep not following why that would be a cancelled holiday

Yep, anything remotely fun will be ruined by Dems. And the election is lost. People want hope not ruination. Please, keep going.

shiat, you mean Spencer's might actually go out of business now? (They operate the Spirit Halloween popup stores..I imagine 90%+ of their income comes from them)

They were setting one of those up in an old Sears store in a mall the other day and it kind of surprised me.
I wish them luck. Last year was the first time they've ever been in that old store and they did better than ever.

Our neighborhood is trick-or-treat central--I'm talking hundreds, maybe thousands, of people and some streets close for the festivities. This year I may actually join the curmudgeonly neighbors who complain about the once-a-year crowd and refuse to participate. I hate it for the kids but I don't see a smart alternative. I'm trying to think of a sign to put out explaining things...suggestions?
