I'm an activities director at a senior community, and one of the women that live there is in her late 80's and she loves soccer. I had no idea, and she told me she watches games on TV all the time. It made me so happy.

/another woman is a former international low level curler and has curling memorabilia from various countries

If you're interested, this was going around twitter last month. A chain of senior living centers was looking for pen pals for all their residents.
