How soon before Trump takes credit for the states expanded since he took office as some sort of claim that he has a HC plan? Even as his administration is in court trying to end the ACA daily.

This is what happened in Australia. In the 70s, the Labor Government introduced a national public health care system. When the next conservative Government came in, they abolished it. This proved to be one of the factors that saw them voted out. The next Labor Government reinstituted it, and it has been safe ever since.

(Now, the Tories just try to undermine it by not funding it. But they'd never try to abolish it.)

Eh, I wrote it for another reason, but what the hell...

Ok, Biden has lost a step, he's probably a few sandwiches short of a picnic, some of his Indians have surely left the Reservation, his elevator no longer goes to the top floor...

But...can you honestly state that you think he is in any way as bad as trump?

This is where the media fails us...in their attempt to give equal coverage to both sides, they legitimize a position that is batshiat crazy.

"Well, yes, the trump administration wants to issue licenses to hunt homeless people, but we're concerned about Biden's stance on Medicaid."

The positions are not equal, at all, but the media has convinced most people that they are.
I don't give a fark if Biden is inaugurated as a brain in a jar, he's still, clearly, better than trump.

It had to pass so people could find out what was in it.

"Medicaid expansion is terrible policy, but it is attractive to states because it's almost all federal spending and the insurance companies and hospitals get lots of dollars when a state expands Medicaid," he said.

The federal government pays 90% of the cost of covering people through the expansion, a much higher share than for low-income disabled and elderly people traditionally covered by Medicaid. Blase argues that that's an incentive to waste federal dollars.

What are they going to waste it on? Treating sick people? That's the only thing the feds pay 90% of.

Administrative costs they match 50%.

This year has been such a nightmare that the only logical conclusion is Trump winning by 100 votes spread across 8 states and then the ACA going down 5-4 shortly thereafter.

During the campaign Trump said he had a plan better than the ACA. He's had an entire term where he's controlled the entire government (come on, the democratic house is ineffectual) and he hasn't done dick. He never had a plan. He never intended to change anything and FFS someone call him out on it.

It is very important that he pick a VP that can take over.

Obama always seemed more of a Star Trek fan. I bet he grew up nerdy and wanted to be Spock, then he grew up and one day, Voyager.

I don't know for a fact that he watched every episode, but my wife found Voyager a few years ago when I had it on in the background while I worked. She binged the shiat out of it and she's smart, so it makes perfect sense he also loves it.

He's like Yoda...
Got the ears

Had a hell of a time identifying the evil
Then fighting it, it gained ground

A new hope...
Hopefully, he's trained Joe to be like Luke

We need a Return of the Jedi now.
Coming to an election near you.
