After seeing the Beirut fire and being like "damn that's a huge fire" and then "OMG: I've never seen such a huge explosion.:  I would not want to be within 20 miles of anything like this.  And I say this as person who is more curious then a cat, like a moth to a flame.  When I was a kid the fire department turned the hose on me for getting to close to the flames.

Anyway I leave you with the best fire song:

My wife has this book about the history of the English language and its dozens of branches and blends. Many of them are just about impossible to document, even phonetically.
