Anyone have a link to what was actually said?

2020-08-05 5:20:13 PM

HighOnCraic: Even if what he's saying is true (and it's not), how could it be treason if they were spying on him (which they weren't) before the election?

You're putting way more thought into this than he does.

2020-08-05 5:24:45 PM
Myrdinn: Kinda wondering if he actually listened to the testimony.

For that matter, if any Republican (including the ones at the hearing) did.

Doesn't matter to them. They'll say it contained whatever they want to have been in it, and their constituency of shiatbags will eat it up with a spoon eagerly.

Trump has tried time and again to warn us about Obamagate. The last time was back in June, and since then, 50,000 Americans have died. DO SOMETHING

This shiat, man. I don't know how much longer I can deal with it.

stoli n coke: I Ate Shergar: "ObamaBiden"? Is he trying to suggest they are some sort of conjoined entity?

He has to work in a "Ooga Booga Scary Black People!" angle for his chromosome-surplused base.

Obama and Biden fused together once in order to fight Majin Buu.

Using government resources to spy on your political opponents is unethical at least. A 3 year attempted coup is pretty treasonous.

Trump: BIG NEWS! The Political Crime of the Century is unfolding. ObamaBiden illegally spied on the Trump Campaign, both before and after the election. Treason!

Also Trump: As president I can order any investigation I want because I have unlimited Article 2 powers.

Clearly this power only applies to Trump and not Obama.  A white power, if you will.

NateAsbestos: OldRod: She said, UNDER OATH, that they were not spying on Trump's campaign, but that they were investigating Russian's interfering with the election and Trump people kept getting caught up in it.

UNDER OATH!

Let's see you go under oath and try to refute that Donnie!

You're not wrong but do you think an oath would mean shiat to Donald? I mean neither his oath to his wives, nor his oath of office, have meant a damn thing to him.

He's swear in to Congress and testify that he was 7 and a half feet of lean muscle, a grim bloody fable leaving women ruined for other men for life. He can bench press 700 pounds on his rest days, and has more money than China. Like, the country of China, in sum. He's actually caught China Virus 53 times and wrestled it into submission every time. He doesn't try to avoid catching it because every time he catches it he advances the scientific study of the disease, nay of life itself, by decades. The owner of Harvard once called him and said "Sir we want to name the school after you. I also spoke to the president of The Calendar and we are going to restart the year numbering. What we call 2016 will now be year 1 in the Trump Era. All hail!"

And that's the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth!

The flip side of narcissism - the crushing fear and insecurity narcissists feel which drives their obsessive need to pretend they're God's gift to Earth and can never be satisfied or made to go away - is the sort of awful mental disorder that would make you pity almost anyone.

Except a narcissist... because honestly, can any of you really feel pity for a monster like Trump?

Duh.  That's why Trump never should have accepted the Russian spying assistance.  That's kind of the whole point.

Yyyyup. Check out this video, starting at the 2:00 mark.

If you watch carefully, you'll notice Trump swallowing the last lingering taste of Putin's spooge from his blowie earlier that afternoon:

Agreed, but it's misleading to call it an attempted coup. Our country's enemies installed their puppet, and the treasonweasel has been doing their bidding ever since. I'd say it was a very successful coup.

zbtop: Treason is giving aid and comfort to an enemy of the United States, what enemy were Obama and Biden giving aid and comfort to?

Unless we're just going to classify anyone refusing to tongue punch mango mussolini's dirt star as "the enemy"...

I don't know if it qualifies as "giving aid and comfort", but Obama did try to reach out to the Republicans in Congress to get his legislation passed.

I know it. "sanity" can be partially restored if you change President.

This is the mess "purity tests" and unwillingness to compromise among Democrats. They suck at compromise internally yet seem addicted to it when in government. Herd your cats!

The orange turd and his turdlettes have already started on voter suppression. See thread about the postmaster general trying to triple the postal rates for mail in ballots.

See also the suit filed against Nevada for sending mail in ballots to all registered citizens. That is an attempt at  active and open voter suppression.

The republitrash won't give a shiat about any of that treason.

Literally that they were not spying on Trump's campaign, but going after Russian interference.  And kept running into the Trump campaign.

Sounds like even members of the Trump campaign had no idea how much other members of the Trump campaign were tied up with Russia.

More specifically to what he's tweeting about here, when Sally Yates said she "wouldn't sign off on the surveillance", it's because there was a small error on the surveillance request that was not caught until later.  Essentially a clerical error.  And no official would sign off on a request they KNEW had a clerical error that needed to be corrected and resubmitted, so of course Yates said she wouldn't sign off on it if she knew that, obviously, because it's against protocol.  A real nothingburger.

But the Rs on the committees worked REALLY REALLY HARD to get that soundbite out of her.

I'm not a betting man, but I would take that bet. You notice that he has not been slandering the intelligence community quite so openly lately? That's probably him trying to play nice and get them to do his bidding.
