Misfits were great.  I love looking at early footage of their live shows, such a different scene than anything out there now.

This is one of my favorites.  Check out the mom carrying the kid around the pit.

I want a damn compilation album from this!

Subby here...I was torn as to what video to submit, as I just saw this one when they uploaded it last night and figured you all needed to see it as well. But then I went down the rabbit hole and the dudes name is freaking awesome!

There are a lot of great covers...this crazy train cover tho, gave me the bumps of a goose

Their cover of RUSH's "Anthem" was also gold. For the show, the "Hot for Teacher" was cool too. They're all so damn good; If you haven't heard "The Warrior" then you haven't lived!

I stumbled upon the video for Candy's Room, the cover with Jay Weinberg drumming, which sent me down a Jay and Max rabbit hole. The Rush cover I found via fark, which I shared with every person I knew who wasnt on a ventilator!

So after a few good shots at these videos, I went deeper and really, even for some of the stuff that I'm not in to and bands I don't know, I still marvel at their collective talent.

I'm actually really glad that they are doing this and using the money to help the artist and video/engineers who work on them. The Rush cover, everyone donated to cancer research. Not that that particular set of dudes are hurting for money or anything, but its still a pretty stand up thing to do.

Ahh, my mistake. I haven't taken Varg seriously for the last 20+ years in any event so I thought he could just be a punchline.

Misfits shows back in the Googy-on-drums era were a blast as long as you were at a show where people liked them. We got to see them in Detroit (at bars) at the beginning and the end of every tour.

We asked Glen why he didn't start and end in New Jersey, where he lived, and he told us that everyone in New Jersey HATED the Misfits and they didn't really do many shows there. Then he claimed that he started and ended in Detroit so that each tour would begin and end well. He might have been saying that just to flatter us (and we were flattered), but all those tours did begin and end in Detroit.

We had a lot of fun at those shows.

Their first last show was in Detroit back in 83 I think.  I was bummed they didn't come to Detroit on their reunion tour.

As I understand, they have a few more of these bedroom shows scheduled and possibly some older stuff 'in the can'

Still hope it can get some support on one of the streaming platforms.
