This is Texas, that coach will probably be put in charge of the Title IX program as well as being named assistant AD.

Uh, even for Navy Seals that would be ridiculous.  They want you to be all you can be, not dead.  Forcibly keeping your heart rate at 90% or more of max is asking for a heart attack.
