I still get them mixed up. Even though one is a big ass wrestler.

Eisenberg as Lex Luthor is quite possibly the worst casting choice ever made.

At least I'm not the only one. I listen to a comedy radio show where whenever one of the hosts mentions him fighting I get really confused. "Wait. When did he go from holocaust survivor lookalike to wrestler?"

Come to think of it, I may also be conflating him with a UFC fighter as well.

Not even close. The worst possible casting choice is always Andy Dick. In anything.

You make Max Brooks look like Macho Man Randy Savage

Worst Lex than Gene Hackman, which was a brilliant casting choice but he was horribly written and directed. Which in a way makes Hackman an even worse Lex.

Worst casting choice in general? That would take some thought. Engelbert Cabbagepatch as Khan comes to mind.

Well wrestling is kind of gay.

People were really skeptical about that but I thought Cruise was a great Lestat.

Didn't know he had OCD.
And now that I know.
I don't care.

Speaking of vampires and bad casting, Bram Stoker's Dracula has some gems. Keanu Reeves and Winona Ryder have some rather memorable "English accents."

What about Andy Dick in the role of 'Victim' in a snuff film?

I thought Brad Pitt would've been better in that role. Confusing.

I don't think the issue was the casting (Although Eisenberg wouldn't have been my first choice for Lex), but I think script and directing were way bigger problems. Even if you got someone like Billy Zane stealing 40 cakes on screen it still wouldn't have felt like Lex if he had been delivering those lines and acting the way he did in every other scene.

He'd ruin it. You'd be all set to really indulge your darkest sociopathic lust for schadenfreude, but he'd still irritate the shiat out of you the entire time he was onscreen.

Michael Cera is vanilla.
Jesse Eisenberg is annoying.
His annoyingness made him the perfect Mark Zuckerberg.
