I never did.  If I go through some place's drive-thru and they're still serving breakfast only at 10:30 am, I'm like 'No thank you, some other time then.'

I was thinking people aren't getting up as early as they used to any more. Plus, you can pour some milk in a bowl of cereal and eat that in bed. Way less effort than hitting the drive thru.

When you are no longer commuting to work, you're less likely to stop somewhere for a breakfast.

Which is great for me since I've been commuting to work this whole time as an essential employee. Tim Hortons is a whole different story though

Damn, I could go for a sausage & egg McMuffin right now - with two hash browns & a extra-large black coffee!
Yeah, I'll cook my own breakfast but it just isn't the same.

McDonald's has breakfast all day...why can't they have Big Macs all day, too?

/3rd shifters don't want McMuffins for dinner.
//Or cold Big Macs

An egg sammich takes literally 3 minutes to make. Five if you wanna make it fancy. You spend about that much time pulling in, ordering, paying, then leaving.

/save about five bucks too
//fried egg sammich ftw

I prefer the sausage biscuit, but McDs is the only fastfood breakfast I've ever purchased.

I no longer am dropping my kids off at their school which happens to be right next to a Dunkin Donuts, so I have no opportunity to stop for coffee and a bagel.

Instead I sit in my bedroom and make myself a third and fourth mug of tea over the course of the morning.

McD's ditched all day breakfast.  BK used to have a "Burgers for Breakfast" promotion for a few years which was great.

That was the one cool thing about Roy Rogers; you could get a burger at any time.  This was especially useful when riding the 200+ miles of the NJ Turnpike at all hours of the night into day.

No, they have time to cook breakfast at home. When you don't have time to make it, you buy it. This seems kind of obvious.

But this is America, so ...

Hit the McDrivethru a few days ago for the first time in months, ordered a sausage & egg McMuffin (that's the only thing I like there). Parked a few miles away in the supermarket lot to eat it, and saw they gave me a ham & egg McMuffin by mistake. Ate it anyways - well, some of it. Simply awful, chalky texture, bland and tasteless. That sammich really needs the sausage patty's grease and salt IMHO. Stupid McD's!

Used to crush 4 Sausage McMuffins and a couple Egg McMuffins once a week for cheap calories 26 minutes after early morning gym sessions. The salt from the sausage was all I could taste. Always had to wash it down with a couple pints of water.

It might not take long, but this is a lie, it takes 3 minutes just to cook the egg to be sandwich ready, not counting heating the pan. Basically it's a 10-15 minute process depending on if you have it all set up, which includes scarfing the damn thing, which makes it more work and more time than the drive-thru. I suppose I could make it the night before and then just heat it up in the microwave, but Jimmy Dean has shown me that mircowave'd bread and eggs is super gross.

/I drive an hour to work to be there at 6:30 AM, so super open to other suggestions
//overnight oats are gross

I used to do McD's breakfast 2-4 times a week. I haven't had one in, like, 3 months, and had an Egg McMuffin a few days ago. I was sick the rest of the day.

My normal breakfast has become a fried egg (over semi-easy) and a slice or two of toast. Sometimes coffee, sometimes not. I had no idea how shiatty (and over-salted) fast food breakfasts were until I fasted from them for a few months.
