Easier to read on a yellow background, but won't render well as a set of channel letters without the black trim on their beige buildings.

They should have just redone the kerning and lost the apostrophe, but I guess that wouldn't be a big enough change for change's sake.

Thinking about this, they probably hired the same firm as Panera, who started a rebrand 2 years ago and realized Helvetica and not having Gaia up there was detrimental to their brand.

Cue wave of people that hate change complaining about it without giving a real reason.

/Expect phrases like "why mess with it" and the occasional promise to never eat there again that will last about as long as their pledge to keep on supporting Goya.

I'd love a chicken biscuit and sweet tea from Bojangles right now.

I'm pregnant, not fat. Also I don't live anywhere near one so it's not even a possibility.

No issue with the design of either old or "new' logo , But i have to wonder how much money was wasted designing the "new" logo to say nothing to the costs of producing all the stuff for the restaurants to update them to the new logo.

if your gonna spend the money to do an update at least make it worth the money spent.  Bojangles may as well not have bothered with the update for all the changes made.

We had Bojangles two nights ago.  They also updated their menu board at the drive through, so I was thrown off my game for a minute. Their 1/2 gallon pink lemonade is a nice alternative when in the mood for something different.

As long as his dog didn't up & die, I'm good with it.

Phew.

I was expecting some idiot at the C-level trying to brand a Confederate flag on it somewhere.

This?  Sure.  Cool.  Good job, y'all.

About the only thing I miss from the south.

Oh and a somewhat interesting story about Bojangles.  The guy that started the company sold out after a few years and then went back to operating a Bojangles unit in NC.

Someone had to justify their budget.

It's not your money, who cares?

After I moved from South Carolina to Ohio, one idea I had for how I would spend Powerball winnings if I won involved bringing Bojangles to the Midwest.

I am not offended as I thought I would be when I read of the change. Grew up loving Bojangles near their northern most restaurant, barely over the Mason-Dixon.  Went on a business trip to NC earlier this year and it was a mandatory stop, nothing has changed from 1983.

Chicken biscuit bowl.  Rice, beans, grilled chicken, and melted cheese.

Good stuff

Zero need to change the logo.

It's nice but I don't see the point of changing it. It just seems like a waste of money.
