State Senate, not US Senate.

So a politician, a hero, and a wannabe hero.

Jayne Swiggum - the nurse - is the one who makes a lick of sense, so she's a goner.

They're all better than a Republican.

Is she an old grizzled nurse who'll dress down a resident in front of an attendee or is she one of those card playing nurses?

/I don't want to be that person

nmrsnr: State Senate, not US Senate.

So...a normal state senate race?

This will be tough since the Republican candidate is an old hand politically.  Pfaff got pants by the Republicans who essentially didn't pick up his option to be Ag secretary, the nurse is a newcomer so there's no telling how she'll do, and nutcase will be lucky to pull 3% in the primary.

Pfaff and Swiggum both seem to have their heads on their shoulders. The bomber guy, well...

Had he actually blown up an IRS office he'd win in a landslide.

I'm from Wisconsin but not that district. Pfaff seems like a good guy from his (limited) statewide role. Swiggum seems awesome but if she wants to win she needs to understand how this sounds to farmers: "We need to try to help farmers be stewards of the land, like they used to be," Swiggum said. The other guy is irrelevant. I'd prolly vote for Swiggum.

Nutcase should have run Republican. They do well over there.
