No matter what I start watching, I always end up on music reaction videos of either Nightwish or Jinjer.

Needs either a TED talk or somebody imitating CGP Grey.

Well, that's still better than the Facebook rabbit hole. Our church was doing children's ministry services and a weekly book reading via Live video, and without fail, every time the stream ended it would go to a deranged alt right video.

British panel and talk shows.  Graham Norton is excellent, I've also been watching full episodes and clips of QI, Only Connect, & Would I Lie to You? and many Formula 1 clips, recaps and podcasts.

Victoria Coren Mitchell is dreamy.

My recommendations in this genre: Taskmaster (or just wait until it comes to the CW this fall...no, really, they are actually bringing it over), Countdown, Eight out of Ten Cats, and Eight out of Ten Cats Does Countdown (yes, a crossover).

I've watched like ten different people react to the same Devin Townsend video. It never gets old.

Thanks! I've seen some episodes of Eight Out of Ten Cats and ...Does Countdown, I'll look for Taskmaster.

What about Graham Norton like shows?  He's a British national treasure.  If I was in show business, it would be my goal to be a good enough American actor to be invited on his show.

I can't believe they had a whole section on "purely absurd" videos and didn't mention Hydraulic Press Channel.

I've done that with tool including APC, RATM, Metallica, system of a down,
Fun to see the reaction of people who don't normally listen to that style of music.

Also find myself watching pitch meetings.

Any form of auto racing that doesn't include NASCAR.

Australian super car, BTCC, IMSA, F1.  There's some really good racing outside of the US, inside not so much. Supercar highlights and Bathhurst replays are my go to auto racing preference.

The history guy, 5-15 minutes on a "forgotten" subject.  He's a fine story teller.

I've never been able to figure out exactly how much of this channel is an act, and how much is actually being nucking futs: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCATJh3BJNXTRX4EdxK2oDKw

Maybe you'll have better luck than I've had.

Sharing videos is a personal thing.  Get a group of teens in the same room, they'll all want to share this one amazing video, and none of them will want to actually watch the video the other kid is sharing.  Yeah, yeah, that's kind of amusing, but watch THIS one!

You really need to know your audience well, to make a good video recommendation.
