Not sure if they understand the vectors for covid-19. From the article:

Those three locations will be closed until they are cleaned by the New Orleans Mosquito, Termite and Rodent Control Board.

WTF subby. "The hot librarian" as if there's a prior story I missed involving a hot librarian in New Orleans talking about covid, and TFA has nothing?

You're lucky other people have the photos covered.

I work for a library and when our bosses wanted to reopen in the next couple of weeks, it was almost unanimous among the staff that we should wait. With cases ticking up in the area, everyone's glad that the people in charge listened.

/lucky that I work in the programs team so I can work from home

Lady librarians are some of my coolest friends, but while we're in NOLA, a news story from within my lifetime, sad to say:

Don't be sad, libraries all over are mixing the races and it's worked out very well.

Victor could've helped them with their vector.

Am I weird for thinking they shouldn't bother cleaning? Last I knew Covid-19 lasts on surfaces up to 7 days under ideal conditions. By the time the Exterminator Board gets there to clean and things get sorted out, it's going to be the weekend and it'll probably open two Mondays from now giving 9 days. Reminds me of the university I work at, at one point in the dorms three students potentially had Covid(they didn't but tests were slow back then) and were whisked away to isolation at a hospital, and then a bunch of money was spent cleaning their rooms. I would have just closed the door and told everybody to stay out for like two weeks. Which they pretty much did too. Really not getting all the cleaning efforts if a place gets shut down for an extended period. If it was bacteria or fungus, I'd get panic cleaning, those farkers are survivors that love playing hide and go seek.

At least New Orleans has one. Based on what I've seen of Baton Rouge, they can't spell the word "clean".

Haven't worked in many civilian hospitals, but my time in military hospitals would challenge that.

I've been wondering about this headline for some time without posting.

I want to know:  did she set the stacks on fire?

Got COVID 19? So that's a no ... maybe, depending on what she was doing at the time.
