/he doesn't seem to mind.


Cisco gets shaved at least once a year.  He can be a poopie butt cat, and he gets mats on his haunches.  I'd post pics but I'm on my phone.

Ellie hanging out with me on the couch earlier.  And Dyson got stung in the backyard tonight.  He had to sit on me for an hour to feel better.  He is fine, refused dinner and treats.   And yes I worried till he was feeling better

She amused herself today by chasing the light colored tip of her tail (a favorite pastime).
Sadly,she is not allowed to present her own reports on Caturday anymore, due to her atrocious spelling.
If I can find a working camera, I will stalk her for a photo.
It is just about12 years since her surprising gotcha day.

HookedonOnyx: Enough Lurking!  It's time I actually say hello to someone.  I've been following Caturday for four years, and fark for a lot longer.  Besides, my boys wanted me to introduce them to you all.  So without further ado:

sunblock_suppository: Hey this is cool, I just got to rescue a kitten, just a couple of hours ago.

My 20lb maine coon had just cornered it in my tool shed and informed me of his successful police action.

I found a scared and underweight kitten, a little grey & tortie girl. Probably about 12 weeks, obviously socialized but she hadn't eaten in days.

We've got her quarantined in the garage until we can get her checked at the clinic Monday. Seems too young to be chipped. For now I just want to give her some calories and safe warm places to nap.


Good for you and the little kitteh.

Why thank you!  Someone gifted me total fark (and you know who you are!)  You sure know how to make a stranger feel welcome, and they don't come much stranger than me.  I see a lost weekend in my immediate future.

At the moment Onyx is standing guard duty looking out into my rain soaked patio, trying to find strays to hiss at.
Ashes is at my feet trying to get my attention by purring loudly...but IT;S A TRAP!!!

I've never had a long hair, but I could see it being a relief for your kitty to have the sanitary trim.  As long as it's kept to the area he has trouble keeping groomed, it probably is more comfortable.

The only thing I have to go on is that Nick likes when we brush his back so he doesn't have to stretch to reach it.  But he only likes to be brushed where he has to stretch to reach.  Otherwise he'll stop you.

Here's Kitten X, who'd been driven to hide in my tool shed. We got a couple of meals into her and she was thrilled to have some close contact, just melting into me there. Now she's sleeping off her pig-out session.

That's Mousse, the massive Maine coon mix cat who apparently found this kitten out in our large almost rural yard and drove her into the shed. And then he came and got me so he could show off.

"Human, there is a kitten here that you need to mend. Get to it!"
