Fell apart faster than the yearly ESPN hype train for Notre Dame football

Hopefully, the Commission on Presidential Debates has no audience in attendance.  Actually, go back to the Kennedy/Nixon debates and only have one podium.

They just want to be like Michigan. Also they got their abortion health insurance ruling, so all previous commitments are off the table.

If they have a cognitive test, Trump is going to wipe the floor with Biden.

He already knows all the best answers. Person. Woman. Man. Camera. TV.

Biden better watch out!

I have no incentive to watch a debate where the orange shiatstain is a participant.
He never is going to answer any questions, or support any ideas or positions when challenged. He is just going to deflect and reply with non-answers, between calling people names and sniffing.

Well there's always the chance that he's so hyped on Adderall that he completely melts down on stage.

Aren't they still ½ a decade or so away from rebuilding it? And why hold a U.S. Presidential debate in Paris anyway? Isn't there an EU travel ban from the USA? Not to mention that wouldn't such a thing in such a classic cathedral be considered ― sacrilege?

Why does it even need to be at a phyical location? the debate can easily be done virtually in this day and age...

Did Trump request his own podium so he'd always look taller than Joe Biden, or do you mean a lectern?

While Trump is a sociopath, narcissist, and pathological liar, I'd at least prefer he be on a stage in front of cameras and lights than in his office with stooges feeding him answers.

They should've brought Rudy in to save the debate!

It could be in two separate TV studios.  What would be hysterical is have them get on a zoom call with a moderator.  Two seventy year-olds.  No, click on "start session"  No, "start session."  No, "start session, and then type in your passcode. "
