I would love to know what he claims to have said that was misunderstood by her to be farking biatch.

"I feel bad for Ms. Ocasio-Cortez who thinks this was - I called her these names, I did not call her these names. This was strictly on policy," the congressman said

OK, follow up question:  What other members of Congress have you referred to or used the phrase "f*cking biatch" when referring to a policy issue?  When else have you uttered those words in the performance of your public duties?

When will conservatives learn that they will not win a battle of wits against AOC. She's always prepared, always listening and will always get the last word. Now this asshole is gaslighting her. Way to go, dumbass. She's going to dog walk your ass all over Twitter. Good thing you have great insurance because you're about to be sent to the burn ward.

That's a new one on me. Issue a nonapology for calling someone names, and then deny calling them names. That's just the kind of sharp thinking we need in Congress these days.

No, it's not really.

Don't ever mess with a good bartender. Seriously, just don't.

Didn't he say it in front of multiple reporters?  Surely there's audio and video of this.

He needs to be censured, removed from all committees, and have his pension revoked.

2020-07-25 7:06:56 PM
He really should stop hitting himself in the face with a shovel, just suck it up and say that what he did was inappropriate.

/ And, how he apologized previously was probably less than sincere.

Along with politically motivated boycotts, monetizing opponents' mistakes has been a standard campaign tactic for ages.  Leave it to the Republicans to resort to childish name-calling now that they no longer have the demographic clout to make these tactics work.

This will play great with the housewives Trump was courting the other day.

They can never just take the loss, especially against a WOC.  Better to look stupid and tough than humble and weak.

That farking biatch tattled. Wah. I'm the real victim.

2020-07-25 7:41:43 PM
The comments come after the Florida congressman appeared to make gestures at a watered down apology Wednesday, saying that he regretted "the abrupt manner" of the "conversation" he had with Ocasio-Cortez after a report surfaced that a reporter from The Hill overheard Yoho calling the congresswoman "disgusting" and saying that she was out of her "freaking mind" to suggest that an upshot in crime was linked to the economic burdens made worse by the coronavirus pandemic.

Yoho is a moron.

BizarreMan: I would love to know what he claims to have said that was misunderstood by her to be farking biatch.

He says that he was referring to some policy discussion and called it "freaking BS."

Which is simply not believable. He wouldn't have given a half-hearted apology if that was the case. He would have cleared the record. Problem is, he didn't think of a similar enough phrase until after he gave his half-hearted apology. No walkin' it back now, numbnuts!

/Did you hear "numbnuts?" Cuz I clearly said "Ol' bud!"

2020-07-25 7:52:28 PM
Good luck with that, idiot.  I'm sure that will go over really well with your dwindling base, but less well with those "swing voters" that you'll need to actually get elected again.

To be fair, I bet many congresspeople might refer to a male representative as a "farkin' dick" or "asshole." Not saying it's right by any means. But those halls are not hallowed and lots of pejoratives get tossed around. Lots of self-important egos there.

Well, they were primarily responsible for turning Candidate Pussy Grabber into President Pussy Grabber back in 2016. Everybody thought those comments he made to Billy Bush were so reprehensible it would have completely sunk his campaign...but it didn't. So, what's to say they're not going to find a way to look past all this 'GOP hates women' stuff and vote for the asshole again?

Paging Streisand... Streisand to the white courtesy phone.

Hell, even his church board bounced him. They just cannot shut up over any slight when the best route is to shut up and let it be forgotten in the news. I would think after the AOC dressing down he would want this to go away.

Whatever. I hope he tweets something and AOC comes along with the hammer again. She is the one person they should avoid like the pla... covid.

And before you answer that, a second follow up. Assuming you have called other people the same, does not that mean there is a systemic problem in society that this sort of language is considered acceptable? You know, sort of like what AOC spent her hour the other day talking about that it wasn't about her but about the reality that this sort of thing is considered acceptable among the culture today.

The party of personal responsibility folks, again.

Republicans are afraid of their own shadow and even moreso of strong WOC.

It must suck to be that afraid all the time.
