It figures. I just tried the Spicy Tostadas and liked them. They were only about 210 calories too.

I am a vegetarian. I'm not strict. I eat fish. And duck, but they're nearly fish, aren't they? . . . And pigs, cows, sheep, anything that lives near water. I'm like a postmodern vegetarian. I eat meat ironically.

Be polite walk on the right: they werent very tasty in first place

The 7 layer burrito was the only thing I found even remotely edible at Taco Bell, assuming there was nowhere else to go and I absolutely needed food.  So... good to know that I can just cross them right the fark off the emergency list and toss them into the "Fark no - I'll just not eat" pile.

Enchirito back yet?  I'd make them at home, but my wife hates enchilada sauce.

If I needed to top off my tank, a couple of bean burritos did the trick for 0.79 each.

translation: we're making room for more dorito-based offerings and getting rid of most of the things you liked to eat because they didn't make us enough money.

Great, go eat somewhere else.

Why am I picturing the Chik-Fil-A cows all of a sudden?

/not any sort of vegetarian
//just find TB's food to be crap
///oh well - more for others that want it I guess

They need to be making room on their menu for the Chilicheese Burrito. Biggest mistake they ever made was getting rid of that.

Oh, my 2¢.... Grilled Cheese Burrito is sorta gross and messy. On the other hand, the Nacho Crunch Double Stacked Taco is pretty good. Especially at the $1 price point.

Nah, just like any cuisine vegan food can be amazing or garbage.  Just a matter of who's making it and/or what's in it.

Why would anyone panic over something a fast food franchise does?  For that matter, why does god need a starship?

wait, so they're getting rid of the taco-meat? lol-rimshot.

more importantly, can god make a starship too massive for god to steer properly?

Vegan is not a cuisine. It's a worldview. Like QAnon or flat-earthism.

Most items can have bean substitutes, which the article mentions, but it's just nice feeling welcome somewhere as a vegetarian. Many times, Taco Bell is my only option other than a condiment burger, hold the beef. Taco Bells are ubiquitous and cheap, and surprisingly nutritious. I'll keep going, but will be happier when we are officially back on the menu.

Meh, I've eaten a couple vegetarians, and it was alright. They said I was great, and seemed happy, but it's not like they called up their friends and said, get over here, you've got to experience this.

Well, if the Economy keeps doing like it's doing, you may be back on the menu.

To some, yes.  But in my experience fark's distorted notions of vegans/veganism doesn't match reality.

I can't recall reading of anyone, anywhere, of any food-preference disposition panicking over Taco Bell's upcoming menu changes.

You know that substituting the meat for beans doesn't make the item vegetarian, right?

Not sure I get it. Vegetarianism is a spectrum all the way to hardcore vegans. I'm ovolacto, so egg and cheese is fine. I'd rather a dedicated menu item - I've been burned by substitution errors before and it just feels more inviting and inclusive. Any menu item they have can be made as vegan as the client likes. Not a lot of places offer that option.
