(Some Signmaking Guy)   Unmarked vehicles with federal agents a problem? Wouldn't the solution be for the citizenry to order a bunch of graphics to help them mark their patrol vehicles while they're stopped? LGT example of a graphics package   (esignsunlimited.com) divider line

Just don't bring the knife to cut the graphics at the door seams, don't want them to feel threatened.

All the feds are driving rental cars.  You can't go decaling your rental.  The unmarked cars are just one of several symptoms of a much bigger problem.  They're driving rentals because this sort of policing isn't what they're use to doing.  It's not what they're equipped to do.  It's not what they're trained to do.  And that's aside from the question of whether they even have the authority to do it.

Did they run out of punisher logos?

I want to see Congress pass a law forcing these cop wannabes to wear blue armbands and pith helmets.

These don't seem like the type of people, under the orders of the type of people, for who following the law is a big motivator.

Can't really do it with paint.  Would probably need to be 4-5' long printed vinyl, so it's removable without causing damage.

Something like

DEPARTMENT  OF
HORRIBLE STUPIDITY

Could change-up the verbiage.

That might not be the standard livery for all of their vehicles.  It may be for speed enforcement.  Note the lack of lightbar on top too.

Absolutely LOVE that movie. Don't know how many times I've watched it since it came out.

But I counter with this:

Wonder if that meets the legal requirements for a marked emergency vehicle? I mean, I get that they don't care about legality, but it seems like you wouldn't have to pull over if you can't identify the cop car. Anyone can buy blue and red wig wags online now...

In California, apparently the rule is that any unmarked car can not make a traffic stop.  Apparently a couple decades ago a woman thought the unmarked Honda Civic with a light bar trying to pull her over was a fake cop trying to rob or rape her, she appealed her conviction for not stopping, and the state Supreme Court agreed.  You'll note that even the semi-stealthy Corvettes the highway patrol sometimes use have the CHiPs logo on the door (and not a bullshiat one like the Pima County example above).

Then that means it's about revenue generation, not public safety, so fark them. Unmarked cars have their place, just like SWAT teams, and those uses are supposed to be limited to extreme cases, not trapping the public and serving FTA warrants for minor offenses.

Good. I've also heard of cases where people didn't pull over until they called 911, had the dispatcher verify that they were the ones behind a certain car, and then pulled over, and the cops weren't able to cite them for it.

Neither are the people they've snatched so far, they keep releasing them, super quick when a lawyer is requested. With the Patriot Act in place, if there was an actual terrorism link, they could detain them indefinitely, never charge them, never allow them a layer, and never allow any contact with the outside world, even for the person to let their family know what's up.

But they haven't, so I guess your "terrorist" idea just flew out the window.

She thought she was gonna be raped and strangled because of this.  That happened when I was in highschool one freeway exit south of us.

Drivers' ed was an interesting class, to say the least.

Trump could send in the National Guard and have a body count of thousands and he will still lose in November, but it's worth a try.
