President Trump's targeted assassinations of an Iranian official in Iraq legitimizes assassination as a way to eliminate political enemies.

The one way range of an F-15C is around 3000 miles.

Washington DC is within 3000 miles of Portland, Oregon.

The problem with his argument is that Trump and the people around him WANT escalation. They're counting on it. It's their reelection strategy.


What escalation? The escalation is happening right now! They will literally detain everyone one at a time until everyone is detained for the elections.

That is the goal. You can't convict but you can illegally detain until it is too late. They have been ordered to free the children in detention, that gives them space for eating away at the fringes and scaring everyone else into complicity.

Why? Because they do not fear us. They know that the protesters are unarmed. There is no risk to them. They can literally shoot you in the head and nobody will return fire or even menace them with a bat.

Why did only two guys walk up? Why did they single out one person out of three? How did the one person know it was him they were after? Are these also telepathic police? If silent men walk up and try to abscond with him, why did he walk with them? Where is the typical protester I have rights screaming? Why didn't he question or resist?

If the Oregon DOJ really wanted to press the issue, they should deploy Oregon State Police to protect the protestors and arrest anyone trying to "arrest" them. They should also investigate the arrests and start issuing arrest warrants to the offending federal officers.

This administration seems to have the support of the "states' rights" crowd which has adjusted its views at every turn in order to sell out to Trump Jesus. This is a stark case of the federal government trampling states' rights with nary a peep from OANN.

Crimes against humanity. The USA does not prosecute their own people for war crimes, even when caught red-handed on video in other countries. Now it has come home. The USA could, except that, they use this logic:

Our soldiers have been trained to disobey those orders.

You must disobey an illegal order.

So we don't do war crimes.

What if the soldiers do war crimes on video, disproving that theory?

Notice that their own military "investigates" itself and has never, once, prosecuted their own people for war crimes. There is no independent court or tribunal the USA uses to investigate.

When we talk about the militarization of police, we also refer to that. Not just military equipment, but the absence of laws in the USA to stop the police from attacking medics during protests. In fact, there are laws in the USA that allow it, but that is not an excuse for crimes against humanity, hence the different courts and investigative methods.

As one Farker who rhymes with SmackKarlOrfer said to me on a thread a few days ago, "It is not a crime to follow a lawful order." Literally, that is Nazism. That is how the Nuremberg laws operated.  Americans have been Neo-Nazis, no exaggeration flat-out Neo-Nazis, for so long, they don't even know when they are being Neo-Nazis. The rest of the world can see, though, because we have those other prosecutorial methods and courts.

TWX: Just start taking citizen tips, then pull 'em over and arrest them for kidnapping.  That would actually go a long way towards restoring goodwill by the local police.


Until the outcome of these injunctions, they just need to order the local LEO's to blockade the Federal buildings and escort and protect peaceful protesters.

I kind of wonder how fighting as if your life actually depended on it trying to resist while shouting "Help, these aren't law enforcement! I know this guy! He isn't law enforcement! They aren't with any department! I'm being kidnapped! They're going to KILL ME!" would play out.

Protesters being, effectively kidnapped, have every reason to use everything at their disposal to fight this, and the confusion would enforce the need for identifiable law enforcement.

The best reason not to is because of the ass kicked and bone breaking and police brutality that's already become so commonplace in our, uh, "Law Enforcement" a term that's quite tainted in the modern age.

Precisely the reason why the CHP is very clear about "do not pull over unless there is a big-ass star on the side of the car."  People were getting robbed/assaulted by pretend-o-cops years and years ago, and that should have been the end of unmarked bullshiat federally, but no.

The fact that some states use entirely unmarked (and sometimes random seized-) cars for highway enforcement goes on the looonnnnng list of things that are lonnnnnnnnnnnng overdue for a hearty, "WTF? FIX THIS NOW" about policing in this country.  And, really unmarked anything for any reason.

Burn. It. All. Down.

It might work to go full Gandhi, Or MLKjr as the case may be. But there is so much bloodlust in the USA that we should have passed that point with the teargas long ago. Plenty of unarmed protesters have been abused by the police and Americans are waiting for the farking election. WHAT COULD GO WRONG with waiting???

Well, this could go wrong with waiting.

That's the point, and Oregon DOJ knows it.
