Nobody, not even Al-Qaysi, knows how TSA officials or airline staff will react to the suit

If it has "Al-Qaysi" printed across it?  That's anyone's guess.

Are they going to have a drain valve somewhere? Because I'd need one after an hour in there.

Where'd they take this picture? Epcot? It would be perfect there especially in August in Florida.

Something like the wine rack would work for drinking inside a suit.

You can already get these wearable pop-up protector thingies, they have shoulder straps and you can walk around while wearing them:

I don't know man, I would just go all in and make futuristic apparel that is an envirosuit and make it cool AF. Just like masks, as soon as a contingent of people start doing it, it becomes the norm.

If I'm on an airplane wearing one of these things, drinking my beer through a straw - probably a good call.

Being meat-based is so limiting. This is the first step on the road to the cyborg phase of our evolution. We won't be overtaken by machines. We will become machines. Then we will be immortal.

The machines will be machines. Meat will be meat. You could, theoretically, make a copy of the pattern of your consciousness (once we actually figure out how that all works and come up with a way to code it digitally) to base a piece of software around, but you ARE your meat. That will be a copy, and it will live its own life. Once the pattern copying was done, you could stand up, walk out and live the rest of your life. Your digital doppleganger could go about their own lives. You'd be separate, which highlights the issue. It's the digital form of the Star Trek transporter problem.

Sorry, but once you're born in to this form your fate is sealed. Your consciousness is an emergent property of your meat brain. No meat, no consciousness of yours. The digital copy could be conscious in their own right, but it won't be you.

On the Gemini-era space helmets, there's a small port just under the visor where if in a case of loss of cabin environment and the astronauts had to seal up in their suits, they can insert a squirt nozzle for water as well as little round sticks of emergency food (where the idea for "Space Food Sticks" came from).

Why couldn't this thing have a similar port that was thought of over 55 years ago?
