Yeah...no.  Go ahead.  I'll be over there...away from you conservative dumbfarks. Have your festival...enjoy, get drunk, get sick, go to the hospital, then die.  At least that way you can't vote and fark everything up...again...and again...and again...

// conservatives aren't the brightest.  Most of our laws are geared toward preventing them from hurting themselves.  Perhaps we should just take the warning labels off of things and call it a self-correcting problem.  They kill themselves with COVID parties?  They can't vote any more...

July Mini Fest is set to be the first rock festival featuring major acts to take place since the pandemic started

I'm not much into this genre, but which one of these bands is considered a major act?  The only one I've heard of is Sponge and I saw them in the early 90's at their peak with only about 20 other people.

Sponge
Flaw
Saving Abel
Bobaflex
Thunderstruck AC/DC Tribute
Imperial Fall
One - The Only Tribute to Metallica
Saul
Fire Fight
Static-X
Adelitas Way
Dope
Versus Me
Beyond Threshold
The Nightcrawlers band

a good half are sorta-metal acts that were popular in 2005.  I can't say any of them would be worth the risk.  Probably the only band that i would remotely consider risking my health again to see would be iron maiden.

Looks like a bunch of tribute bands.  While some of them might be good, and even have some of their own music...yeah...Sodium Bromine.

Adelita's way is sorta metal, but with string instruments thrown in as well. Almost like movie trailer music.

Fun, but no way would it sound better in person, that's the sort of music that only works in a studio.

I feel we don't have enough people dying of covid on tv. May one of those Saeah McLachlan SPCA style commercials of people dying on ventalators in slow motion intercut with crying family members. Because this disease doesn't have a face, people haven't actually seen what they're up against. Show them frequently and graphically, make them see it. Scare them.

It's true in my experience. The trumpers in the shop where I work listen to the local Butt Rock station, mostly. That station's morning show has been warmed-over Limbaugh for almost 30 years.

The album was recorded just recently. They used riffs and song ideas from a while ago.

It's pretty good. I'm not going to begrudge a band for continuing on after their singer makes some bad choices. I might for this concert though.

Well, Wayne was known for "Wisconsin Death Trip" maybe the new guy wants his own?

I saw them in like 98 with Powerman 5000, Dope, and new band called Chevelle we booed of the stage.... Now they're the only group making actual money...

Don't talk shiat about Screaming Trees friend.  They released a bunch of terrific albums, broke up, and singer Mark Lanegan has put together a great second act as a solo artist for the past 25 years.

Having said that, any artist performing in front of a live crowd during a pandemic can DIAF.  Idiots.

I'd say most metal heads and bands in the genre are strongly anti-anything related to repubs.  The bush years were an artistic goldmine for a lot of bands, though lamb of god was the best that came to mind.  More recent bands are still pissed off...   a couple of the shirts in my personal collection.
