Is he the new Danica?

Bubba Wallace is always going to be a driver that finishes mid pack and maybe a top ten on a good day.  You run middle of the pack on a regular basis and crap is gonna happen. He's gonna run out of his 15 minutes sooner or later and then people will just tire of him.

Not saying you're wrong, but part of that goes to the Petty car he is driving which is a mid-pack car.

So, a clean-cut white driver wrecks a guy, and we have two comments questioning the skill of the guy who got wrecked, and one racist meme.

Seems about par for the course.

I'm Kinda enjoying how few farks Bubba has to give, considering NASCAR's fan base calling out another driver for phony piety and mouthing Christian platitudes is a very bold move.  And if you watch the video that guy VERY intentionally put Bubba into the way.  Kinda surprised that's legal in the sport

you must have missed the part where bubba's comments kinda make him look like a dick

im sure he wouldn't rage quit a virtual race and lose a sponsor, either

And now we have some race baiting too! It's the Fark trifecta!

Is there a reason to question his skill as a driver? Like maybe he was racing in a qualifying race since he hasn't won a race in two years? Nah that's doing a racism!

his "skill" has been stepping into slow ass 43 car which had been running 30th on a good Sunday with other drivers, and bringing the program up to a point where they can finish 15th on a regular basis, and a top 10 finish isn't that terribly surprising for that team anymore. Bubba's been developing nicely as a driver, and if the right deal can be put together, I wouldn't be shocked to see him in a top ride in the next season or two

He has them on the cusp of the playoffs... finishing last here didn't hurt them since points don't count for the All-Star race.

Honestly, I'd rather he stick with RPM and reward the King's faith in him. Seems like they have some big sponsors incoming, which is a start.

No, no, he didn't slam you, he didn't bump you, he didn't nudge you... he rubbed you. And rubbin, son, is racin'.

Only if they need another publicity stunt.

I'll say this again.  Roush-Fenway Racing utterly wasted him as a driver.  If they hadn't poached him away from Kyle Busch's team, and he ended up in Gibbs-tier equipment...he would be a regular title contender now.

It looks like Byron (#24) gets into the back of McDowell, or close enough to cause McDowell's rear end to loosen up which caused him to turn into Wallace.

I would like to see what he can do with a top tier team. Would he be a consistent contender and possible winner or would he become the next Danica who was hyped to the moon and despite being in top tier gear could never really make it work?

Exactly. No evil was committed by either the 24 or the 34 just Bristol racing

Yep. It's racing. Bubba's response is the same one you'd hear from one of the other 41 cars out there if it happened to them.

I think the only one that wouldn't be upset would be Earnhardt Sr.

SR was always a big whiner when it happened to him but he thought it was no big deal when he did it, which was very often.
