Can you clarify who is exploiting and who is getting the financial gain?  My understanding is that the recipe is provided free of charge, and that profits from the beer are donated

See, this is why I avoid IPA's. It's just a lazy brew.

I would love it if these compensatory type programs weren't needed.  They are awkwardly executed, easily gamed, and sometimes make the problem worse.

But until the playing field is leveled and the game is fair, we will still need these programs.  So, I agree with you.  I am all for ending race aware programs, by eliinating the need for them.

But we aren't there yet.
