No.

Stop traveling if you don't need to, you selfish shiats. There's a reason we can't go to Europe and it's the same farking reason we shouldn't be flitting about the country. This list suggests we go to Florida and Cali? SMH

Also, Newport RI is on the list. Please note that it is a terrible place and no one should visit.
/seriously, don't come here.

full of European charm, and mainly in states that are full of COVID.

Thank you for this article, Subby!  Me and Kairo and Jaxxon and Buff-Buff and Cheddar and Paisleigh and the whole rest of the gang are sooooo sick of partying at the local water park.

We were supposed to be in the French Riviera this summer for all the 'Grams, representin' the good ol' U.S. of A and grabbing some likes.

Now we know we can just go to Newport, Rhode Island and party-hearty there!  I hope they don't have any stupid mask rule.  Those things suck for tanning.

Is there one with hookers and hash?

How about fjords and surstromming?

Yeah, this is a really dumb idea. Travel sites should honestly just not even display to American IP addresses right now.

I say that, but destination advertising is proceeding at its normal pace.

The only one on this list I have been to is Newport, and it wasn't a total shiathole, but I wouldn't compare it to France.

Newport, Rhode Island, instead of Nice, France

Bwhahahahahaha!

Yeah, thanks. I think I'll stay here on my recliner and not intermingle with the plague rats. Hopefully they'll all FOAD more sooner than later.

Lemme guess: Solvang, California is number one.

[reads article]

Well, they aren't ranked, but, yeah, it's there right in the middle.

Leavenworth, Washington, instead of Bavaria, Germany
NO! STAY THE F*CK OUT OF OUR STATE. We don't have Coronavirus contained either, but we're at 540 not 15,000 daily cases. Oh and if you live in Washington? Keep wearing your mask and STAY THE F*CK HOME.

And the first one on the list is St. Augustine where a county commissioner is dying after foiling a mask ordinance

Sure pay them a visit, I am sure it will go well

There used to be (+50 years) a series of books: X in 1001 pictures. They were made for people with very little chance of going somewhere else. Surely the world hasn't changed much in 50 years. Find a couple of them. And pretend.

List fails without Helen, GA.

My brother-in-law spent time in Leavenworth. Has nothing good to say about it. Has nightmares about showering facilities there.

Oh, Leavenworth, WA.

Never mind....

You've got all of human history at your fingertips in the form of the internet.

Don't be a selfish dingus.  No traveling this year.

What is wrong with people?  Do they just not get that being around people is making this worse?

Ever try to sleep with the sounds of yodelling echoing through your head? That takes an emotional toll as well.

I'd also like to point out that Leavenworth is like...a few blocks at most. Unless there's a festival going on, there isn't that much to do. Unless you like shopping.

Not sure how many festivals there are among the blocks of Leavenworth.

Dropped in to post this.  I live in the suburbs of ATL and have spent many a weekend mini vacations there.

From Wiki..

"Formerly a logging town that was in decline, the city resurrected itself by becoming a replica of a Bavarian alpine town, in the Appalachians instead of the Alps."

But yeah like everyone in the thread is saying.  Wait until all the madness is over.

List really fails without Frankenmuth, MI...Its a mini Bavaria

Nice, France is NOT at ALL "like" Rhode Island. At. All. Been to both. One guess who has better food. Carmel California is NOT like the Italian Riviera. At. All. Been to both. One guess who has better food.

Stay home. Stay safe. Do not risk your health because "reasons". This virus is really awful (duh) and why not plan a trip for when it's over? Why not use Google maps, 'n take a nice virtual stroll in Nice? Or the Roman Forum? Why not sharpen up your cooking skills and try making something from the country you'd like to visit? Be an arm chair traveler. Which was a thing, back in the day. Rent Lawrence of Arabia for that true, epic desert adventure. I'mma gonna be watching Apocalypse Now-director's cut, and make some sort of South East Asian mash up of a meal. As grocery stores here are very basic. I'd far rather get out of this Republican MAGA fueled nightmare of ignorance of basic health guidelines alive, than to be f'd over by the stupid. Promise to post pics of where I'll be, with a frosty beverage in hand!!!!

There, problem solved.

/HA!, now you're stuck in Europe!

Stay of St. Augustine. It's a very new city and has alligators that will eat you. Does Europe have that? Nope. Stay away.

/st. Augustine is wonderful to visit in non-plague years.
// kind of like Europe

Stay the fark away, wear your farking mask, and wash your goddamned hands.
