The month-long Michael Jackson channel was announced Wednesday by the singer's estate.

So only for a month, makes sense if this goes on too long they get too old and Michael loses interest in them.

What's the difference between Neil Armstrong and Michael Jackson?

Neil Armstrong was the first MAN to walk on the MOON, and Michael Jackson plays with little boys!

I'm not going anywhere near this channel. It might replay that awful Halloween special that the Jackson estate cranked out, and I just can't take that chance.

I don't understand SiriusXM at all. Every vehicle I've bought recently has come with a 3 month free trial that for no reason at all becomes a 6 month trial then a monthly spamming of snail mail begging me to come back. There isn't anything at all that is on there that I can't get through my phone or normal radio, and they want me to pay for it.

They replaced The Groove?? I haven't been in my car consistently since Covid struck, so I didn't know this. They better bring it back. It's one of the best channels they have. The only time they usually change the format is when someone iconic dies (like Prince, Luther, Whitney) but it's always temporary.

When you can put some actual evidence in front of me that says the guy farked little kids I'll be upset with him. I'm 43 and I kept up with all the trials and never saw anything that would be evidence he was banging little kids. Sorry but poor families coaching their kids into claiming they were molested isn't "evidence" and that's why the law enforcement investigations never went anywhere. Even the cops said it seemed like the kids who made claims were coached on what to say and how to say it.

All I need is "proof beyond reasonable doubt" and I'll say he is a piece of garbage. Until then I'm fine with a SiriusXM channel. I'll do just like I did when I got old enough to realize Ted Nugent was a racist douche, I quit listening to his music and I'll say he is garbage every chance I get.

I'm fine with cancel culture as long as we require proof before we cancel anyone. Roseanne proved she is racist garbage so cancel her. Nick Cannon is anti-semetic and it's all verified so cancel the shiat out of him.

Michael Jackson was under intense scrutiny and millions of dollars were spent investigating him over the accusations. That crap went on for 10+ years. If there was enough evidence he would have been convicted of a crime. This wasn't a Bill Cosby situation where 60+ people came forward with nearly identical stories. Michael Jackson was sued by a family not long after they got into some bad financial difficulty and he ended up settling out of court. That brought forward a couple more families who were not doing well financially and they wanted some money in their bank accounts. By all evidence it was nothing more than greed making those families file lawsuits.

If accusations are enough for you to cancel someone and automatically assume their guilt, maybe somewhere like Germany in the 1930s would be a better place for you to live. That kind of philosophy on justice doesn't have any place in the modern world.

All I know is, I wouldn't have left my kid alone with him. Would you have? The stories were too detailed and had too much in common for that to be even close to an acceptable risk.

Dude, he diddled. He did what diddlers do, he diddled. But Billie Jean was still a great song. Matter of fact, I still think Bill Cosby Himself is one of the greatest stand-up specials ever, and that Harvey Weinstein bankrolled some great independent films. I don't necessarily think their work has to be cancelled as long as it doesn't celebrate their crimes, just throw the pieces of shiat in jail.

A: Your normal radio has a ridiculously short range, in comparison to my Sirius where I can get the same exact channels from one end of the country to the other.
B: No, you can't get the "same" stuff on terrestrial radio.
C: I get far better satellite coverage on my satellite radio on long trips than signal on my phone.
D: It's easier to navigate my satellite radio than a cell phone. Plus, there aren't laws about changing channels on my satellite radio, as there are about picking up your phone and farking around with it while driving.
E: Using my satellite radio for a 12 hour drive doesn't affect my cell phone battery at all.

Calm down. They probably just bumped it for the month. That's what they do sometimes. It will come back. Hell, you might not even get it if you listen online. They had some kind of tribute channel recently that was supposed to replace the Deep Tracks channel for a month, and either in my car, my wife's car, or online(I can't remember which), I couldn't get the tribute channel, just the original programming. They have a couple of dedicated slots, but the rest of the stuff gets bumped around, and always comes back.
