Yeah, but I rather pay to fly from where I live to let's say Orlando for Disney World than be in a car for 16 hours down that dreaded and jammed I-95.

Yeah it will.

3 months ago people kept saying that the world would never be the same, and lo and behold, not a single thing has changed

Caves change very little over time.

What's your momma got to do with the subject at hand?

An airplane?  Can you describe it?

Lance Robdon: An airplane?  Can you describe it?

It's a big pretty white plane with red stripes, curtains in the windows and wheels and it looks like a big Tylenol!

Does that mean they are going to remove the center seat in cattle class for more leg room?

Maybe you can't see it, Mr. well-educated white man, but it's pretty stark to those who don't make a lot of money.
So of course you don't notice a thing. That's what your well-padded existence is supposed to do--make you oblivious and uncaring. That's what "privilege" is all about.

They came for the poors, and you said, Meh.
Funny, that's not what all of you are saying when it's time to spout a lot of concern about equality and shiat like that.
You guys will be getting yours. And it's coming soon. This is a disaster the world won't recover from, and it's going to keep right on going.
That's what climate change will do for us. And you're all oblivious in your fortresses of convenience and first-world excess.
But just wait.

Take out middle seats and every other row completely. Ticket prices will go through the roof, but I only travel for business anyway. Let them pay it if they want me to go. If not, I certainly won't miss flying.

An amazingly amount of stuff will go back to normal soon after the virus is no longer a threat (after a vaccine or effective treatment is found).

Now, if the virus never goes away (no vaccine, no effective treatment), that's different...

This. A huge amount of companies will just wait and do absolutely nothing different.

Your think they aren't using this down time to figure out how to fit even more people on a plane?

Hint: they're ALWAYS trying to figure out how to fit more people on a plane

Sleep stasis perhaps? Knock each passenger out with a heavy dose of something then stack them in coffin style pods and stack em to the ceiling.
