Easy access to clean water would have clear massive benefit to all 7+ billion people on the planet, but that includes the poors and the shiathole countries, so they needed to find a better spin to justify the expense.

Well dihydrogen-monoxide is one of the most dangerous substances humans have ever found. It's responsible for an unknowable amount of death throughout human history.

So making a machine that purifies it is clearly a deadly advancement.

Clean water will just make it so more humans can use carbon resources.  And that kills the earth.  Reducing fresh water availability to the human tumor will reduce carbon usage.  That heals the earth.  I say start by blowing up the California aquaduct and stop taking water from the Colorado river.  Let the earth heal.  Hell the Colorado river doesn't even run to the ocean any more.  That doesn't sound healthy for the earth.  Let the US be leaders in showing how the earth can heal by letting people die in the desert.

Your ideas are sound, but a lot of white people will get killed along with the browns and poors. There are bigger deserts in the Middle East with way more brown people. Warfighter Water (c) will help kill brown people and fund the weapons manufacturers and Erik Prince's mercenaries. So bigly jobs, much good stonks. Why do you hate America?

As long as there are equivalent black and brown deaths, right?

I ask you - why would you do that?

Not equivalent.  Equitable amounts.
