Yea, well my favorite pho house closed up for good in April (still hoping its going to reopen, but at this point, no).

Democrats and Republicans, equally decided that businesses deserved more of the money that you pay in, but you would be ok on crumbs for 3 months.

Don't worry, the next stimuli will be awesome, a wonderful tax holiday that both sides will totes get behind, and make everyone happy (as long as you have a job right now).

Meanwhile, Texas gave out $32m in unemployment to people who did not qualify, while self-employed folks got nothing but a big turd on their chest. And the State thinks they can get that clawed back, which no court in the world is going to force it.

Politicians need to get farked, with a rusty cactus. The worker is the biggest donor class in the US, just not to the pricks up in DC, directly.

There was leftover, unclaimed PPP money when the second round of the program expired.  If a business closed, it was because either A. It took the money and still went under, B. Didn't bother to apply for whatever reason, or C. Would have closed even if it took the money.

Maybe if we actually had some oversight on this money.

Yeah, I got Kung Pao Chicken the other day for take out.  However they are open now with about half of the tables removed.  Anyway, I'd be really interested in an actual Chinese restaurant.
