Damn that is cool. Paleobotany finally had something interesting happen! It is so cool to think that you can literally resurrect an ancient plant, exactly as it was thousands of years ago.

Ditto. I was a behind-the-coucher back in the day when Classic Doctor Who was @) not "classic"; and b) still on. The Melkur from Keeper of Traken was one of mine, and Mondasian Cybermen. shiatty costume budget meant the writers had to be more imaginative.

I didn't read this one, but if it's the same guys as last week then the seeds didn't grow.  They actually cloned cells from the fruit which is even cooler.
