Simple enforcement of Denver area clean air rules in northern Weld county will bring down the area pollution quickly. Problem is the polluters will fight for the right to pollute.

Having lived in Weld County, I'm pretty sure most of the emissions can be traced back to regular book burnings and gunpowder.

As long as there's a brewery emissions exemption, I'm okay with the new changes.

We in the industry prefer the term "freedom gas." Please be respectful of our culture.

Big difference.  Greeley != Weld County

Curious if defending Greeley or rural Weld county?

I had never heard of a Greeley fan before and checking.  Bird hunting is possible in rural Weld so there is that for me.

That's just Greeley. The rest of Weld county is basically just a a live action remake of The Hills Have Eyes, without the hills.

Nobody was claiming that they're "equal." The OP was saying that they don't miss the smell of Weld County. There are cattle throughout Weld County. You're the only one trying to make anything specific to Greeley.

I guess that is better than the popularity of heroin in canyon city in comparison.

I live in rural Weld county.  There aren't any feedlots anywhere near me and I don't have any kind of cow smell here.  Weld county, as an entire county, does not have a particular smell unless you consider "rural air" a scent.  If you do, you should probably just stay out of the country and keep huffing that fresh city air.

I drive up to Greeley somewhat frequently, for the aforementioned beer scene.

There are absolutely feed lots, like the three along 85 between Platteville and La Salle, along the way, well outside of Greeley. A quick skim of Google Maps shows a number of others - Kersey, Gill, Eaton, La Salle, Pierce - all outside of Greeley proper.

You obviously just live outside of the feedlot belt, and probably north / west of it, so that its smell is heading away from you most of the time.
