"Nebraska Barbecue Council" sounds like a front name of a shadowy criminal organization from a Robert Ludlum novel.

Or else it's the title of a quirky Hallmark Channel rom-com.  Plucky Manhattan PR exec runs back to her small hometown, helps local business consortium sue Big Tomato Sauce, falls in love with local pitmaster-with-a-heart-of-gold.

I'd give it a try... but the fastest drive to Omaha from St. Louis literally involves going through KC... and we've got a few famous BBQ joints in the Lou for that matter.

I don't see the problem.  You can hit up KC again on the return trip.

/Might need to get the suspension beefed up.
