Daily fail makes this incredible, but... Is there a basis for this? A sensible, almost decent Republican seems very unlikely, but her tenure suggests sumit was up.

Missed opportunity to use the hero tag. It was a big gamble but she played the hand she had. Now that SCOTUS has ruled, she can finally tell her story without jeopardizing the case.

So...she sucks less than expected?

Does anyone else think it's short-sighted to take people that we've paid the money necessary to educate basically to our standards and throw them to other countries?

They should follow the exceptionally difficult, time consuming and expensive process....

And by HHS, subbie means Homeland Security, not Health and Human Services.  Oops.

Missed opportunity for a DUKE DOES NOT SUCK, FINALLY! headline.

Wow.  If this is true, she deserves credit and professional restoration for rescuing tens and thousands from being uprooted in a crime worse than the Asian American internment during WW2.  As incredible as it sounds, in the case of the Keystone West-wing clowns I can see them not even bothering to read the document after she signed it.

If this merits the hero tag, it's a sad sad time of year.

Expect to see a lot of these "Oh but I really was working against the regime the entire time" bullshiat stories.  If it were up to me, it wouldn't matter.  You'd hang with the rest of the Nazis.

Yes to both IMO. I'm thinking back to the "part of the resistance" era of the Trump presidency. She had to work this in secret and bear all the negative reactions, or else Trump would've been able to undo this.

There's no room for logic and rationality in the Trump administration. They need to leave because they're illegal (and brown, but I'm sure that's just a coincidence). How could Trump be the law and order president if he let them stay?

We are going to hear a lot more stories like this after January of next year.  I wonder how many of them will actually be true.

SS can stand for a lot of things with this administration.

I won't say the US is the leader in short sightedness, but you do appear to have a more than ample strategic reserve of the stuff.

Stuff like this should be one of the main anti-Trump arguments - the fact that so many of the people he hires don't do what he wants.

Yes, it's a good thing that people disobey that jackass, but even if you DID like Trump's policies - he's just bad at his job. A president's main duty is to HIRE PEOPLE. And he is, provably and by his own frequent admission, bad at it.

President's don't fight wars - they hire defense secretaries. They don't arrest people - they hire DOJ officials. They don't go measure the amount of benzine in your drinking water - presidents hire EPA chiefs. By a vast margin, a president's job is to make hiring decisions, and Trump has an unusually-high level of failed hiring decisions.

He's bad at his job.

More than we'll be able to believe, I'm sure.  This administration has lost an awful lot of court battles for not following procedure.

I mean how many people keep joining this awful admin, do awful things while there, then months later try to stab at Trump with the knife he put in their backs. All the while regaling us with tales of how they were the True Hero who protected America from a worse fate due to their special actions that we really don't know about (and please don't pay attention to all the stuff that is actual on record that I did).

/and btw, here's my book deal with a few good anecdotes about Trump having the IQ of a 8 year old
