The only people cheering this are Man City supporters, because it means Man United can only get into Europa League.

This is just a bonus. As a Citeh fan, even Stevie Wonder could see this coming. They should have resigned Sane at all costs. Aguero is being held together by paper clips and duct tape now.

Heh, I thought about teasing my Man U friend but as a Liverpool fan I'm just gonna enjoy the title and keep my mouth shut. :p

Is there some sort of restriction against United that I'm failing to remember?(Which is admittedly completely possible) I know they would go 3rd with a win today

no, they are just 5th *right now* and have to finish higher than that to get in

I'm more than clear on which spots qualify for which additional play, I just figured I must've been missing something else. Thankee.

Given how Leicester shat the bed yesterday and Chelsea's defense being mostly horrid since the restart, I don't know HOW United fark this up and not get a top 4 spot outright. They're actually healthy and playing well while the next most solid team around is......maybe Wolves?

Correction: The bribe made it to CAS, not UEFA.

UEFA's rather pissed about this. So should AC Milan, who got correctly banned from European competition and are now watching Citeh make a mockery of that same system.

The way Foxes are collapsing, I'd pick Red Devils to finish in 4th.

Hell, they will most likely be in 4th today.

In case anyone needs a refresher:

How does it work in practice? Apparently, companies like Etihad in Abu Dhabi wait for the Abu Dhabi United Group (ADUG), the holding company that belongs to Sheikh Mansour and which also owns Manchester City, to wire them money. That money is then "routed through the partners and they then forward onto us," wrote Finance Director Andrew Widdowson in an email. That, at least, is how things were done in 2015: At the time, the deal with Etihad was bringing in 67.5 million pounds annually. But Chief Financial Officer Chumillas emphasized in an email to Pearce: "Please note that out of those 67.5m pounds, 8m pounds should be funded directly by Etihad and 59.5 by ADUG."

I do not think Leicester will allow a loss like that to happen again, not when they have to play Spurs as one of their remaining games.  Chelsea have been hit or miss all season, but Kepa having one of the worst save percentages in the league is not helping Blues supporters.  United have to keep their heads, even today against a Southampton side that has been great on the road.

OMG Chelsea's defense has been horrible. Just amazingly bad. Which is shiatty because their offense - particularly Giroud and Pulisic - has been awesome.

End-1st Qtr-Drinks break. Maybe it's just me as a Gridiron fan but it seems more natural to have these regulated breaks in general, especially during the spring/summer bookends of a normal season.

So from what I've been able to fathom about the CAS ruling, it doesn't come down to saying City didn't do it.

The ruling is that the way in which Uefa investigated the case, and spoke publicly about the decision they were going to make *before* they'd actually finished the due process, meant that the case was prejudiced.

In other words 'they probably are guilty, but you farked up the investigation so badly no court in the world will convict now, all we can ding them for is not cooperating with you while you messed the whole thing up'.

Bullshiat PK call. Goalie was going for the ball and the striker was going twice as fast.

2-1 Wycombe.

Your statements are very unclear. The first is stated as if it were a fact that couldn't change under any circumstances. The second acknowledges its only for right now, which makes the first unnecessary.
