Universities reportedly stand to lose upward of $160 million if all non-conference games are canceled in 2020.

Sounds like society is saving $160 million and thousands of lives. Pretty good deal.

looks like they'll have to cut out some less popular sports and screw over those athletes that never went into it thinking they were going to make money off it by going pro

they can still be students and maybe start up some intramural leagues if they truly love the sport.

This is a common thread but how do Division II schools manage?

It is a different issue though still a relevant one, but the next time I see somebody talk about how only so many schools have a realistic shot at a national title I would ask them to remember that some programs play at the 1-A level for the money and not the competition.
