But seriously, the buses in my city have never been so prompt :P

I'm sure Seattle's commuter trains run on time too: there are three to five people on each car, where there used to be 100 to 150.

Soooooooo you're telling me when the stress on infrastructure is reduced, that infrastructure performs more efficiently?

Ah-mazing!

The Germans have a word for this sort of phenomenon: "Wenndiezügewenigervollsindweil allekranksindwiröfterpünktlich."

Not gonna lie, I did not expect this to be a real German word.

What is wrong with your language, Germany.

I'd never want to watch Nazis running a train, even if they were punctual.

Airlines are reporting faster boarding times, too.

Maybe that's true during the week, but I rode the train in NRW on Saturday and it was both packed and late. Tons of people on the platforms without masks or very questionable masks, though they did put them on while on the train.

Making German trains more on time than usual is not that hard, especially given the circumstances. Less punctual, that would be an achievement.

Germans are uniquely sorta Vulcan, at least linguistically. They are wonderfully logical and precise in the accuracy and literalness with which they address any particular thing, and aren't given to Euphemism or color.

So, you're saying that they've gone from 3 decimal places of accuracy to 4?

So what your saying is that its the passengers that have been gumming up the works.

Criminals finally have a legitimate excuse to wear masks in public, and these guys can't even get it right. Identifying them shouldn't take too long.

Right? Why bother shooting someone on a metro train when you can just wait a few weeks for the virus to get them.
