A Ho-Ho-Kus woman...

Stop kink shaming.

I find this reflexive, childish response to being told what to do to maddeningly immature.  These grown ass adults, basically stomping their widdle feet while screaming 'You're not the boss of me'.

Grow the hell up and wear the damn mask.  We could have had this thing under control by now if not for tghe thirty and forty year old children

Eating outside may present some risk from wayward traffic, but at least there's wind, dust, heat, cold, humidity, insects, or some combination thereof to accompany your meal.

"If it was a nice sunny day, there might have been some people out there who might have been hurt, which you never want to see."

Speak for yourself. We certainly don't want something like that to happen. But if fate insists it does, then nah, I'll watch.

I agree, I mean disagreeing with a mandate is one thing but plowing your car through an outdoor dining area to express your displeasure is really just too much

I get wearing masks to fight Corona, but is there really a level of mask that will protect me from a Corolla?

Ranting about a topic barely related to TFA definitely not reflexive or childish.

Still sounds a little Ho-Ho-Key, but Wikipedia.....

I'm wondering if she fainted due to the high heat and humidity in the area. It's been really hot and humid where l live (MA) the last two days and I fainted from heat exhaustion (inside my house) from it.

I'm surprised we don't have a dozen Fark "docs" coming up with diagnoses for why she fainted already.

That's what I thought when it said she'd just come from COVID testing. Work made her take a test and wear a mask and she went full Ronaldo and took a dive with her car, just to prove a point.

Oh, alright. Here.

It's super rare, but it does happen. My dad got a nosebleed from his COVID test last week, and felt lightheaded afterwards.

You should still get COVID tests. And wear masks. And avoid driving into restaurants.

she was wearing a mask, couldn't breathe, this is why Karen doesn't want to wear a mask!

My mom is turning 69 next weekend and is determined to go to a restaurant for her birthday. Both I and my brother are reluctant to go. We feel like assholes but don't want to take the risk.

I'm about eight miles from the restaurant (per Google maps) but I've never heard of it. Mrs. Chronic says she knows of it, though. (She's lived around here all her life; I haven't. Plus, in non-apocalyptic times, I spend more waking hours in NYC than in NJ.)
