Is Trump's road to citizenship:

a) Vote Trump and stay!
b) Praise the Lord Trump!
c) running through Trump's capital city, Pandemondium, Hell?

What ever happened to military service, humanity, family, and so forth?

2020-07-10 10:33:33 PM
Pass the ammunition?

2020-07-10 10:39:28 PM
He says a lot of things.

2020-07-10 10:44:32 PM
He said he'd release his tax returns.

2020-07-10 10:51:14 PM
Sure he didn't say 2 weeks? That's his default bull shait timeframe

2020-07-10 10:52:21 PM
He also said recently he'd end DAACA by executive order. The "roadmap to citizenship" words are just pretty ribbons wrapping the package of hate. From TFA:

"But we'll put it in and then we're probably going to be taking it out. We're working out the legal complexities right now."

2020-07-10 11:03:51 PM
That road is going to begin and end at the dreamers original country.

Calling it now. It will be a sh*tshow to pander to his base

We should have infrastructure week again pretty soon too!

Trump said... just stop reading there.  Nothing of value will come after that.

Yeah, and you know, I'm starting to get the feeling he's not being completely honest with us.

"next few weeks"  even further away than 2 weeks.  Never going to happen.

Now is the time I scream to the teens in the horror movie to not open that door.

Okay clearly we know he will not do that at all so what weaselly lying crap is this?

2020-07-11 4:12:48 AM
if it were as easy as a EO, then why didn't this come up when Obama was in office? Because it's not. And Trump can't. But this is Trump, and his cult can't see past this at all.

I will completely understand if, as soon as this law is enacted, every employee of ICE runs like a farking maniac for the airports and seaports and never comes back from some non-extradition shiathole. Because these citizens may or may not be patient, but one way or another, they will seek to imprison every single ICE employee for crimes against humanity.

I saw a sneak peak, my cousin is a janitor there.

It says "if you, a dreamer, work at my one of my properties - the real ones, not the ones that licensed my name - for the very good sum of a ha'penny per hour for a total of 5 years, you can become a fully-fledged hatchling of the United States of America. Hereby, forthwith, My name is Donald John Trump and I knew it was really a lion, not a camel"

Now that he has no choice due to the SCOTUS decision as placating the white power asshats the right way will take until after the election.

Citizenship in which country, though?

He also says they will not be any amnesty.

FTFA: "I'm going do a big executive order, I have the power to do it as president and I'm going to make DACA a part of it," Trump said in an interview with Telemundo anchor Jose Diaz-Balart.
"But we'll put it in and then we're probably going to be taking it out. We're working out the legal complexities right now," Trump added, but did not expand on what he meant.

"Two weeks"

2020-07-11 4:29:19 AM
2 options
1) He's lying;
2) It'll be like the ACA Repeal and Replace where they try and repeal it, only manage to do away with parts of it (still hurting a lot of people) and then don't both replacing it at all.

You sound like a parakeet there. "Two weeks! Two weeks!"

/It's also a nice length for interplanetary vacations.

Then you'll have to flush 15 times?

Let me guess: "All undocumented immigrants report immediately to the closest ICE office. Further executive orders to follow."

He apparently believes two things:

1. That enforcing immigration law is a crime. Because whatever one's beliefs about how nasty those laws and their execution are, you'll never pin any of that shiat on the rank and file who have no effective decision making power. Hell, you'd probably have better luck going after HHS than ICE.

2. The ridiculously small change in the number of voters that a dream act would create will change the make up of our government so much that law enforcement will round up every ICE agent and charge them with something. We are lucky if we get LEOs to go after overt murders caught on tape, as current events ought to make clear enough.

I wonder if it is nice living in a fantasy world. I like to escape from time to time too, so I can't blame him I guess.

That is not a defence in crimes against humanity. The Nuremberg trials being about the Nuremberg laws, and all.

If you honestly think that the ICE personnel running the child separation jobs, and running the prisons (aka concentration camps), were the kids are being kept, and coordinating the court appearances without legal representation, are not going to be prosecuted, then why will you even bother to vote in the upcoming election? That is a serious question. Who do you think will go to prison? I would be open to discussions of class action lawsuits, but they would need to be gigantic to approach justice The same goes for a Truth and Reconciliation Commission, which ahs neve been the USA's style anyhow.

I'm about to hit the sack, as I'm up too late already, so I'll just say, "good luck proving that and getting any administration, GOP or Democrat, to enforce it."

I know you believe that, but believing it isn't going to change how the system actually works, and has worked since before I was born. You've got one hell of a lot of people to lock up if you are correct, from presidents to judges. Maybe congressmen and senators too. And not just one side of the aisle.

It ain't gonna happen now, and the additional votes of the dreamers isn't going to shift the lay of the land to change that.

And before you do something stupid, my saying that is not to be taken as support of any actions taken by ICE, so please don't pull that tired bullshiat out.

Good night.
