Damnit Hawley, you cock.

Why in the world would Woj apologize? ESPN needs him a lot more than Woj needs ESPN. Woj can just go back to Yahoo & telling Trump lackeys to kfcu off probably makes him more endearing to NBA players anyway.

Must be a slow legislative day with absolutely nothing like a pandemic/massive unemployment/police brutality protests/russian bouties on US soldiers going on.

So he thinks it's important to criticize China, but gets all offended when criticized using coarse language.

Poor snowflake.

2020-07-10 6:40:19 PM
Hawley was right about this though. The NBA is China's biatch.

Woj was also correct just in general.

Republicans are the biggest bunch of whiny snowflakes ever.

My alcoholic step dad used to tell me - "if you can't take it don't dish it out."

Much to everyone's lack of surprise he didn't really take his own advice.

farking snowflakes.

I like Woj but I hate China more, and as much as you may detest Hawley he's absolutely right. Remember what happened to the Houston Rockets GM when he tweeted out support for Hong Kong? The NBA is in the pocket of China, willing to criticize its host country because they know they have the freedoms to. But China, oh no they'd never want to lock themselves out of all that sweet, sweet, Yuan. The NBA and especially Lebron should be ashamed, that's why HK'ers excoriated him on twitter. Because he's a hypocritical ass.

Stronger letter to follow?

Still haven't forgiven Hawley for interrupting The Good Place by bringing Trump here to stump for him.  And it only got worse from there.

ESPN has finally become useful.

Just a reminder:  Hawley was Missouri's AG when the governor went off the rails and committed several resign-able offenses, including blackmailing his side piece - and Hawley did jack-all to reign in his fellow Republican.

Let's see how this same idiot felt about the NFL kneeling story:

In a radio interview Thursday morning, Hawley called the NFL's controversial decision "long overdue. "I'm glad that the NFL has finally come around to the idea that the flag represents our country, those who have sacrificed for our country, the history of our country," Hawley explained.

Weird. Not a god damn thing about his concern for censorship. I guess that just makes him a dumb asshole.

Hawley wasn't trying to be right, he was trying to deflect from protests of our own police forces with whataboutism of China.

He might not be wrong about China but he's an asshole for trying to change the subject and Woj was right to tell him to fark off

What happened to Daryl Morey? Last I heard he is still the GM for the Rockets.

In this instance, it's a very accurate criticism of hypocrisy.

Trying to be right or not, he was right. The NBA and its lackeys are being incredibly hypocritical re: the way they treat China. The NBA is in Google territory with their lap dancing of Chinese leadership.

That doesn't make Hawley NOT a bastard farkstick.

But, like, a business asked him to delete the tweet because it may cost them billions of dollars, therefore the NBA doesn't care about social justice in America.

Much like literally every company, the NBA would also not criticize US leadership if it would potentially cost them billions to do so.

Hawley is terrible. But so is the NBA's cozying up to China. A pox on both of their hypocritical houses.

We can't all be authoritarian dbags to the same extent as China. You would think people who are supposedly not solely interested in making money might take that into account when deciding where to do business.

Just cause companies could have made money working with Nazi Germany, doesn't mean they weren't asses for doing so.

Well somebody likes the NBA enough to be sure every player is Covid tester every day. Unlike Hawley's MO where my niece tried 5 different locations to get a test (her gym told her to quarantine after a gymmie there rested positive) only to find they had none. 3 days later she called one of the places and found out, while they got a few test kits in, the results wouldn't be available for 9 business days. Maybe Hawley Russia-fark should do something about that. Or give back the NRA dark money contributions. Or tell Greitens to disclose his dark money contributors. Or kick Parson in the balls. BTW, how's that MO AG lawsuit v China working out?

It's not so much that he sent the message. It's that he sent it from his ESPN email account. If he did it from his personal email, he's still being a private citizen. But when he sends it from his work email, he's kind of representing the company.

Hawley sucks so bad. The Project Lincoln folks all hate him as much as Trump  but say hes more dangerous because he has a few more brain synapses firing.

Hawley has direct access to make changes to the way our government is farking over people. But he doesn't and in every case encourages the way our government farks over people.

The NBA could put financial pressure on China to make changes, but more realistically, China would just ban the NBA from the country and not make any changes.

Hawley is the one being hypocritical here. Who has more power over the respective governments, NBA with China or Hawley with the US?

I don't give a fark about the NBA or ESPN but every Republican politician needs to be told fark YOU every single day until they die. Somebody should set up some sort of auto email that sends that message to every Republican politician in the country, daily. That would be heroic.
