Fauchi doesn't go out of his way to embarrass the administration, but neither does he lick the glorious orange backside with the proper abandon.

However, Dr. Fauci was seen talking to a brick wall last week.

So, there's that.

It used be that when you didn't like what an expert said, you had the decency to pay off your own "experts."  Like the tobacco industry.

These days it's just:  "Pfft!  Experts.  Like they know anything."

Donnie doesn't pay people, so there's that.

Will the loss of American lives be in the millions?
Or only many hundreds of thousands?

This year is going to spawn a thousand books, studies, university courses, TV series, movies and a million denials of ever supporting this fetid POS

Ya know, Dr Fauci has been advising Presidents since 1984. He's been behind the scenes working for:
4 years under Reagan
4 years under GHW Bush
8 years under Clinton
8 years under GW Bush
8 years under Obama
3 years under Barking Yam of Hate

He's advised Presidents on AIDS/HIV, Swine Flu, Bird Flu, MERS, SARS, Ebola, and probably a shiatload more that we don't remember because their impact was minimized. Somehow, most of us never heard of him, because he's just behind the scenes looking at the facts and advising the country's leadership how to handle it. Now his advice has been made inert because President farkface needs praise and drama.

fark donald trump, I guess, is what I'm saying. fark his supporters. fark his enablers. He will likely be remembered as having the single most blood-soaked hands in our nation's history.

Yes, but it will all be from people who will say, "Nobody expected that..." In other words, the absolutely wrong people to write those books, courses, tv series.

I've pretty much given up on this country as far as COVID-19 is concerned. I only go to public places when absolutely necessary (such as a weekly trip to the grocery store) and then I either go first thing in the morning or as late as possible at night in order to avoid the crowds. Too many people just aren't taking this seriously so you have to do everything you can to protect yourself and even that won't always work. Fortunately I don't have kids so that makes it so much easier to keep physically distant from everyone else.

The best advice I've heard so far is "wear your mask but act like it doesn't work".

It would be a waste of Fauci's time, obviously. Like briefing a cat on why it shouldn't lick its ass in front of company.

Pandemic? What pandemic? Trump doesn't need to be briefed on something he doesn't believe exists.
