In a most unfortunate coincidence, I am beginning a month-long fast.

As long as it isn't gross, 10,000 to add a seasoning to every meal for a month is a great deal.

And bonus, when you get sick of it, you probably will lose a few pounds.

Wonder how it works on a cheeseburger?

It's basically flavored maltodextrin.  I'll take a humanely raised and slaughtered pig over a highly processed food additive.

Having had "Vegetarian Pork" at a dim sum place in Victoria years ago the idea of "Vegan Bacon" isn't totally out of the realm of possibility, but I have a feeling this doesn't contain as much actual pork.

Idiots.

$2,500 a week. 21 meals a week. $119 per meal. For every meal, you're obligated to provide & upload corresponding pics & a video to SoMe. If you don't have an Instagram account with sufficient followers, don't bother applying. 82% of influencer marketing happens on Instagram, per the 2020 2020 Influencer Marketing Outlook report.

You're getting paid $120 (or less, depending on how you push pics & video) where a typical micro-influencer gets $100-$500 per post on Instagram, $200-1000 per video on YouTube.

That's not a "contest." That's a company hoping to dupe you into work at a third or less of what they'd have to pay a typical influencer. They're looking for a bargain, and hope to find someone who can't do math that's followed by a shiatload of folks who don't know what bacon tastes like.

That sounds like something you'll have to negotiate with the wife.

You forgot about the limited-edition cape.

I love the "limited-edition" part of that, as though there's a real need for these capes, what with all of their vegan bacon seasoning fans clamoring for them, and they're like, "Nah, fam, we only got a limited number - tell you what, though? If you prostitute yourself on social media - spread this shiat on everything you eat, morning, noon, and night for a month - I might letcha have one for FREE! Otherwise, you gotta do what the rest of us had to do to earn one. How do you feel about rectal polyps?"

I wonder how it tastes on bacon.

Uh...doesn't this product already exist? And has existed for many years?

Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't see any animal-based products in there. Unless you count friggen Yeast Extract.

/please tell me vegans don't avoid yeast and yeast extract

The lactic acid is the issue, since its usually derived from milk.

The remote position is open to all entry-level applicants worldwide-although, having prior experience in eating food is beneficial but not required.

Welp, I'm out. I've never eaten food.
