So, like retirements in pretty much any trade reliant on physical acuity then?

Every waking second, not every wanking second.

I'm a LITTLE more concerned for the kids who are relying on that sports scholarship and entering senior year of high school than I am for professional athletes.  But I'm sure that's tough.

Go to the World Trade Center? It was not a good day Subby, and you're an ass for bringing it up.

You woke up in your 30s and realized you would never be able to do the WTC, which you had spent every waking second thinking about?

If baseball commentators did this (or change play calling to a different sport) every once in a while, for this season with no fans, IMHO baseball would be a lot more tolerable:

LOL! Interesting story ignoring the distinct possibility there will not be any MLB action this summer.

/all 3 ex-pros in the story were intense, accomplished players with long careers.

Meh. For baseball players, there are old-timers' games. Or pick-up games with their buddies. Same with hockey, golf, tennis, and basketball. They can still play the game, at a less intense level. But NFL players? When they play their last game, that's the last full-contact football game they'll EVER play. There's no senior tour. That must be difficult.
