Adult??

That is definitely not what I typed. It was "silly"

SCOTUS can rule against him, but exactly what would that mean?  He and his cabal will simply continue to refuse to release.  Andrew Jackson played this same game 200 years ago.

They've ignored one branch of government, why not two?  Unless someone sees the inside of a cell, why would they.    The SCOTUS has no more power to arrest Cabinet Secretaries than Congress does, which means they have the power to, but won't use it.

If his paperwork isn't in order, he hasn't qualified to be on the presidential ballot.

Any vote cast for him should remain uncounted, and be considered wasted.

The only people interested in that is the fake news so I say "forget it". Now watch me drive this ball right on to the green. It'll look like it swing wide but the wind will carry it to right next to my caddy.

I was assured by Farkpublican scholars that would motivate the GOP to do their duty, would have to be impeached and guilty.

What's he on about this morning?
Did he get a heads up he's gonna have to release his tax returns?
Or did he see something on FOX & Friends he didn't like?
Also, why is Twitter asking to translate the tweets?
Do they mean translate them from dumbass to English?

I see the IRS audit is still ongoing after 5 years.

I'm torn here if Trumo would fudge the numbers higher on financial disclosures to make himself look more bigly rich or deflate them like his golf scores to make it look like he isn't grifting quite so much.

Right, just like how an independent counsel like Mueller was able to persuade people after their obstruction and the redactions actually hiding things...

This includes about Deutsch Bank releasing their banking records to Congress.

Trump's trying to not just block his tax records, but ALL banking records with every bank he's done business with.  It's not just blocking his tax returns, but doing everything he can to thwart any forensic accounting or auditing of his finances.

Deutsch Bank being court-ordered by SCOTUS to turn over records, then NOT doing so, might look different than Trump playing his little game.  I doubt Deutsch Bank will risk getting blackballed in US finances for resisting a court order, especially since Trump won't be around to protect them forever.

That's the part I love about all this, is how the feeling of utter futility has really taken root and spread its rhizomes everywhere. I know I've despaired of ever being rid of him or seeing him face any kind of consequence to such a degree that I'm not even sure why I clicked into this thread.

Commander Lysdexic: I see the IRS audit is still ongoing after 5 years.

His tax returns are so amazing that anyone who looks at them are so overcome with the beauty that they fall prostrate and gaze longingly at the sky.  Moments later they are revived with no memory of the returns but with a sense of clarity and the desire to live a more perfect life of service and charity, forgoing their earthly possessions and the material chains that bind them to a mundane and unfulfilled life.

Now the only way to run the audit is to have each page split in two and separate auditors read half the page and they work to combine the information.  Unfortunately this is causing them to instantly fall into a true love, so deep that they generally begin having passionate love on top of the returns.

The number of IRS auditors leaving to become monks, unexpected pregnancies, and destroyed families are really slowing things down, but the good news is that they expect the audit to be done in about four months.

I think he's back onto Obamagate again. There was a tweet in the middle where he complained about Obama and Biden spying on his campaign.

Attempting to deflect his base from focusing on the impending SCOTUS rulings, I guess.

It shows what a complete failure the US has become. Turns out a country can only run on a "gentleman's agreement" for a fairly short amount of time.

I like how they keep spouting off that his finances are "complicated" as if accountants and tax attorneys aren't a thing.

Once again they have the worst excuses ever and his base just eats that shiat pie right up.

This isn't about Trump releasing his own records.  These are requests to third parties that are happy to turn the stuff over once the court gives them the okay.

Executive time and TV runs until after lunch every day, execept for every third golf day when it runs all day, so I assume that he saw something about Obama on FOX.

BlousyBrown: This MFer is  never going to be held accountable for anything ever.

I don't suppose a SCOTUS ruling is going to change anything there - they could order the records released, the army of forensic accountants takes a month or so to find some pretty egregious stuff, and the GOP spends all summer not caring.

I suppose if Trump wins it's likely the House moves to impeach on January 21 (or even the 20th before dinner), the GOP claims they can't hold him accountable for stuff that happened in Term 1; and besides, The American People acquitted Trump of tax fraud by re-electing him so why are the Dems trying to undo ANOTHER election?

// who's going to hold Trump to account: the same party that's vacillated between ignoring, excusing, and outright supporting his every dumb decision for 4 years, or the system they've whored out in service to their Trump-supporting will?

So is a rule like a law except there are no consequences for breaking it? Because if so, we might want to go around making some of these ethics rules into ethics laws. Acting ethically should not be a suggestion for our public officials. If they don't, I want them to stand trial and go to jail.
