That Leicester - Man U match up on Gameday 38 might be super important in determining the 4th place trophy.

dietbubba: But what if its a REALLY tasty ham sandwich?

I could go for a ham sandwhich.
Sourdough bread, spicy brown mustard, lettuce, tomato.
Yum.

It's been awhile since I've had a ham sandwich come to think of it, I've been on a salami kick lately.  I went with Genoa salami on Italian bread with mustard for today's lunch, quite tasty.

Does NBC have free reign over which game they air, or are their contractual conditions, like "you must show every team at least once?"

I dunno, but seeing multiple games playing on NBC Sports Gold and finding every one of those channels not working on my setup was annoying today.  Finally flipped over to Sky because at least Wolves are entertaining

I believe that, to help their Gold package be successful; they say that they'll put every club on Gold at least a couple of times per season. Otherwise, they have free reign.

/Of course, the current situation might have thrown that out the window for this season.

DietBubba needs to ask his English Wife.
She should know some of the details for us.

NBCSN talking heads and disembodied voices saying that not getting absolutely spanked is the only kind of "victory" Newcastle can hope for now.

So clubs are still printing matchday programs and Brighton's program today includes a section paying tribute to Liverpool's season. Huge respect to the Seagulls for that.

That's actually kind of why I was asking.  I was wondering why NBCSN was showing Man City/Newcastle instead of Blades/Wolves, which would be expected to be a much more competitive match between two teams that still have something to play for.  I was curious if contractual riders might have been partly responsible.

it might be one of the few sources of fan sourced revenue they have left, selling matchday programs to superfans

It might be they made their broadcast plans a while back and are unwilling to change them, but your "every team must have one" is probably the best answer.
