Good, if you've pre-ordered it you should go ahead and cancel your order so as not to give more money to a Trump.

(CNN)Donald Trump's niece Mary Trump levels scathing criticism of the President in her forthcoming book, accusing him of "hubris and willful ignorance" dating back to his early days.

Oh, there's a shocker. I'll wait for the pdf.

No wonder he seemed a bit testier than usual.  All we need is for his losing tax case to drop on Thursday, and my week will be complete.

Hey CNN & WaPo! Hook a sister up!

2020-07-07 12:40:25 PM
Unfortunately I doubt there will be any criminal revelations in this book. We already know Trump is scum.

Donnie will never know what's in it because he can't read.

Is the book on sale?

Anyone have a link for it?

No need to buy the book. Mary already got her advance payment and everything worth reading will be broadcast on cable tv. I'll spend the cash on beer instead.

(1) So, she needs to be punished for her good deed because of her last name?  Dude!

(2) She got an advance.  That is essentially giving her royalties ahead of time.  Until she hits some target number determined by her contract with the publishers, she isn't getting any more money.  And royalties are hilariously tiny after that.  You have to wait until the book has sold many, many copies before you are giving her money.  And you just gave her a quarter.  And then, see (1).

She's a Trump so she's 100% evil until she proves otherwise. And no, writing a book is not proof of being not-evil.

But I get it, any port in a storm for people who hate Trump but are completely comfortable with the systems and policies that got us Trump in the first place.

Won't be out for a couple of weeks. Hearing on the NDA the niece signed that the other Trumps are trying to use to block release of the book is this week. Not sure how leaking it to the media before that affects the judge's ruling.

Then everyone is.  If genetics is an unalterable moral arbiter, you, me, and everyone share essentially all of your DNA sequences with the Trumps.  We are all completely and irredeemably evil and dedicated to perpetuating the current situation just exactly in the same way as Donald Trump.  That includes you, boyo.  OR do you have the only non-Earth DNA that makes you too pure for this soiled world?

Grow up and show at least the same level of discernment as a mentally-challenged budgie.

Kinda curious about this book since she's a clinical psychologist with a phd. I'm expecting 200-300 pages of her rewording "it's daddy issues" over and over, but still, it will be nice to hear how the firsthand experiences as well as the his psychological mindset gave him those issues.

Deuteronomy 24:16
"Fathers shall not be put to death because of their children, nor shall children be put to death because of their fathers. Each one shall be put to death for his own sin.

Numbers 14:18
'The Lord is slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love, forgiving iniquity and transgression, but he will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, to the third and the fourth generation.'

But to the Admiral it is ok for the niece to be held responsible for the sins of the Uncle (or grandfather). How charitable.

The Washington Post has already published the gist of what's in the book. It doesn't sound like there's any major revelations---it's just a psychological profile of him, detailing how his horrible father turned him into an unfeeling, unempathetic monster. Frankly, we already knew all this.

Might have been interesting in 2016. At this point? Doesn't seem like essential reading.

Can we also not let the bounty thing go or admit that it is nothing? Because it's something or nothing. Serious if something but should still be reported if nothing.

To know Trump was to hate him. To hate him was to know him. Those who knew him, hated him. Those who did not, hated him from afar. Those who liked him were stupid deplorable garbage.

I sincerely doubt there will be any new revelations in this other than Dotard cheated his way through life, which anyone with an IQ over that of a damn washcloth has known long before he even announced his candidacy in 2015.

Agreed.  In fact, if it ends up revealing nothing not already known, it may end up with the unintended effect of "awww, poor widdle Donnie, let's give him four more years" from some of the moderate crowd.

So there's a SNP or a set of SNPs that we can isolate amongst the genetic material of people related to Donald Trump that turns them 100% evil. That's quite a hypothesis.

While it is perfectly valid to point out that this might just be the reverse of the usual Trump grift, you aren't helping your case when you spout this garbage.

Get some perspective.  We're talking about buying a book.

Great.  Now we can spend the rest of the week talking about what made trump the asshole is his today.  A story that should come as no surprise to anyone paying attention.

And it's not like this will change anything, Detractors will have more fuel for their disdain, and admirers will mumble "fake news" and be on their way.  Where was this book four years ago when it might have made a difference?

And even worse, "Separated:  Inside an American Tragedy" a new book by NBC News reporter Jacob Soboroff that chronicles the Trump administration's "zero tolerance" family-separation policy was released today.  Will this get the attention it deserves?  Noooo.  All we'll get to hear about is how Fred Trump never told his kids (who were never locked in cages) that he never wuvved them.  Boo hoo.

"Got ahold of" as in "received it from the publisher"? LOL, I'm fine with this.

I mean, I doubt we'll learn much that we don't know already, but it's always amusing to see people take a shiat on the shiatter in Chief.
